We drink a fair amount of nice wine, and love these glasses. I have a couple of much more expensive, thin hand blown crystal ones, which I like more- but I wouldn't use those as routinely- have already broken one of those, and as nice as they are, they're just too fragile for routine use. These are a great compromise, they're very nice looking, and are the desired shape for me for various wines, both red and white, and are still a decent, thin enough shape to be enjoyable, while being sturdier. Have used these for years now, around home, and even traveled with them, and haven't broken one yet. I am not going to have multiple different shapes for every varietal ( although I did give in, to getting separate burgandy ones for Pinot :) but these are nice for most anything. Without being complete 'wine snobs', my wife and I can say these do enhance the flavor and nose of wines compared to other standard shaped glasses, if subtly. YMMV, but we like these a lot, and they seem a reasonable value for what they are.

I was shocked at how much difference a glass could actually make in bringing out the best and most in a wine. Mind blowing to be honest. They are beautiful, delicate yet surdy, and after only my first glass of wine in this glass--totally worth the price, thrilled I found this glass and I wish I had them years ago. Highly recommend for those who love wine.

These glasses are stunning! I’ve been looking for a “multi-purpose” wine glass that is sturdy, stylish, and holds a generous amount, yet isn’t too tall or large. These are it. They are comfortable to hold and they balance and fit nicely in your hand. The quality is great, yet should one break (as things do), it’s not too expensive to replace. I’ve looked at many brands, and this one is the winner. The shape is beautiful and visually appealing. If your wine could thank you, it would. I’ve upped my wine game! I just bought another box of these glasses. You can purchase with confidence.

These glasses are high quality and very elegant; they allow the wine to breathe. I recommend them 100%.

I like this glass a lot, but it is not perfect. The design is great; it is very elegant, looks great whether drinking red or white wine. And, although subjective, the shape does seem to enhance the drinking experience, both for smelling ("Nosing") and tasting. Overall, it has immediately become my favorite wine glass. I am certainly no wine snob, but for the last 20 years or so I have exclusively used Riedel glasses. So Riedel (Vinum) is basically my benchmark. And, I do prefer this Gabriel glass over my Riedels. But, like I wrote, the Gabriel is not perfect. I've read in several reviews that people found the Gabriel glass to be "perfectly clear". I am not sure what people base that on, but I disagree. Riedel glasses are "perfectly clear": when I hold a Riedel glass up to the light, and slowly turn it around, I can see no imperfections. The same is not true of the Gabriel glass. It clearly shows some "wavy" structure; my guess is this is due to the glass not being perfectly consistent as far as thickness of the material goes. Both brands are supposedly "crystal". You can also see/tell by the "lip" of the glass: the Gabriel is slightly thicker, and not as refined. The Gabriel IS made out of one piece though, so no seams where the stem meets the bowl and the foot, which is very nice. Also, and this is purely cosmetic, the Gabriel has a nice little pointy area at the bottom of the glass, which gives a nice "streamline" effect to the glass and looks great when there is wine in the glass. Keep in mind, this review is for the machine made glass; it is possible that the mouth-blown version is better in these minor points that I mentioned. But I am not about to spend $70 or more on a wine glass. I don't even spend $70 on a bottle of wine ( I prefer to stay under $10-$15 for "daily plonk"), let alone on a glass. One other, minor point: the glass is tall, even taller than a Riedel Vinum Bordeaux. So It's probably best not to bring them out for a party, because I can easily picture people tipping one over while waving their arms around after they had a few glasses, LOL. Better use a stemless glass for those situations.

Loved them so much I immediately ordered 6 more. They are understated and elegant in their simplicity.

Once you drink wine from these glasses you won't be able to go back to other cheaper glasses. These really amplify the aromas. Also they are the perfect weight, stem length and an attractive shape. Nicely engraved in script with the brand name on the base. Careful though - they are not very hearty. We've already broken several.

This is insane and unbelievable, these classy glasses made all my wine both red and white tasted and smelled better, and I have been drinking wine more frequently now! As of March 2025, the price has gone up double a year later, what a world!!

Love the shape and quality of these universal wine glasses. No need to keep changing wine glasses for different wines. Just use a universal wine glass.
