PetAg Bird Bene-Bac Gel Pro Pack 15grams

Bene Bac Gel is the avian equivalent of human probiotics. This gel helps maintain good bacteria in the bird's digestive system, just as probiotics do in humans. My bird's vet recommends using this for ensuring a bird's good health. It is easy to dispense (caution though: you have to use small increments when advancing dose ring and plunger). I started giving my eight week old African Grey this product and he loves it, now hes twelve weeks old and thinks its a treat which he looks forward to in the mornings, I think it helps him adjust to the various type of food I have been introducing to him while still in the stages of completing his weaning.

I have since given him the gel directly in his mouth. The plastic tip is sturdy and did not break when he tried to bite it. My beardie seems to like the flavor and I believe it helped him while he was taking his meds. I now give him a weekly maintenance dose directly in his mouth.

My cockatiel had G.I. issue. Her vet recommended to start using Bene-Bac. Her digestion has been improving by this probiotic treatments. She seems to like the "flavor" of gel as well.

I give the gel Benebac Plus to my parrot who tend to have low good organisms in his tummy. I give the powder to my dog and cat to help maintain their good flora. It's easy to give. works well.

As our bird has gotten older she has some of the same issue we all do this along with diet adjustment and occasional Prep–H brings relief in a day or so.
