If anything it feel there's a longer length with them. Either way it's less painful though I have gotten used to my wooden nunchucks. Either way it's good practice and it's got me to a point where I'm capable of testing out of it moves before utilizing the wood ones more.

Bought as a Christmas present for school aged boy. These have been used almost daily and have held up well! I can vouch that these are safe to use as I’ve seen my son twirl these around and smoke himself in the head on multiple occasions just to continue on playing as if nothing happened.

I like those 3 nunchunks, they are good quality and are safe to use for kids practicing because of the foam rubber cover. However, they are real nunchucks to get kids good practice how to use. They ar light in weight and easy to use. I am happy of this purchase and save me good money to get a package of 3 for my 3 kids

Good foam covers for practice.Ok weight for practice.Good chain connectors, BUT, ALL 6 of them are sized awkwardly. So, they kink on the housing of the connectors while in use.IF you are an experienced practitioner they are still functional. But, could make learning new moves/combinations awkward.Or,IF you are wanting your students to learn HOW to manage this type of malfunction these could be good.
