My kids loved this! I have a 3 yr old and a 2 yr old. We got the dinosaur/alien pack with the three colors and molds. Each color is enough slimy sand to have plenty of fun. It's easy to clean and any pieces on the floor can be swept up. This item offers my younger kids the ability to squish and stretch it in more ways than Play-Doh, kinetic sand, and messy slime. Plus, they didn't feel the need to eat it! Only criticism is that there isn't enough of one color to fill the big volcano mold, but it didn't distract from their good time.

My son is a huge fan of all things messy . . . what 5 year old boy isn't? I also have girls ranging in age from 5 to 13 and I was surprised to find that this was equally fun for all of them.This is sort of a floam slime sand mix . . . hard to describe.The set includes 3 colors of sand (green, blue and what I say is purple but the kids say is pink) and you can blend colors together to make different ones. There is a roller, impression plate and 6 different molds, mostly space themed but with two random dinosaur molds tossed in for some reason. It is more than enough for imaginative play, especially when you toss in the option of using playdoh toys or your sister's Barbies.I was surprised that this didn't create as much mess as I expected. We started out lining the table with trays and waxpaper, but eventually they moved to the table. Don't get me wrong, it needed wiped off and they had to wash their hands when they were done, but there was no huge mess as I had expected.Currently there is no price on the listing so I can't really say whether it is fair or not. I think the plastic molds were fairly low quality and we had to switch out the storage bags for our own ziplocks.

The first time you use this, it's great. Stretchy and easier to clean. Second time this turns into your worst nightmare. It gets everywhere, it breaks apart into the tiniest pieces and loses it's stretch. Your child is literally inhaling tiny particles of whatever this crap is made of. Do yourselves a favor and get kinetic sand. This is the worst ever, I cannot stress this enough.

The media could not be loaded. Kids love sensory sets at all ages. My 8 and 9 year old kept saying I don’t know why I like this so much but it’s just so satisfying. It is stretchy watch my video. As shown in my picture even my 15 month old enjoyed it. They started blending colors together and making new colors. The box can be used for storing or it has a colorful inside sort of like the inside of a volcano that you can make your creations with the molds and set them inside.It didn’t make a big mess with only a little sand left on the table afterwards. However my daughter had sweaty hands and the sand was just sticking to her. I had her wash and dry her hands and she was good for about 10 mins when it started sticking again as shown in my picture. It never did this to me or my son though.

Kids can play with this and have fun. It comes with a box that the kid uses to play and mold. That keeps it all contained and makes for easy clean up. They will like being able to mold the slimysand and making tracks. This will most likely be a great seller for Christmas. It has gone into my box of donations, as do all the toys so that be Christmas, the charitable organizations will have nice toys to distribute.
