RAC2V1S 802.11ac Wave 2 Wireless Router (Modem Connectivity Required)

This product pairs well with any spectrum modem. It's sleek, tall and looks really neat looking beside the modem.

According to Spectrum, they do not allow any of these router unit to be sold. I returned my rental unit to get this exact same unit. 4 years later, their system saw the one I bought and charged us rental fees. Talked with Spectrum and they said that these third parties either did not return the router unit or stole them and sold online to customers. And Spectrum says they will never and do not allow these units to be sold.

I got this from another online retailer as old stock and new item as a replacement for a Spectrum rental unit. after 2 weeks of use it started to disconnect and I had to reset every time. I am using 3 wired computers, 3 wireless smart tv's and an iPhone. I noticed that after reset the computers work and as soon as I turn a tv on, it disconnects. I decided to reset all the tv's by unplugging them and re-plugging them. I also reset my iPhone network settings. Right after this, all devices are working well. It has been 2 weeks now there is not any buffering on any of my tv's. My iPhone connects without hesitation. I am hoping for this router to last for a long time.

Not good at all I went from 5G with spectrum router to 2G from this product!!

This router does good, although when it says it has 2G and 5G I can only connect to 2G besides the router looses connection out of nowhere it’s the most annoying thing once it’s plugged in a few hours later the blue light blinks as if it got a reset. It’s a good router though reliable but annoying to have to loose WiFi and get it back 5-10 minutes later.

This used router is not compatible to my modem. It charges $8.95 to return.

Although I got this router through Spectrum cable, I have had it for a year and I am very impressed with the range and the device load. I have at least 10 devices connected to it, and even with 3 other devices in use, I can stream and it doesn't lag or buffer at all. I do have to say this, if you can, it should be placed in the central most location of the home or apartment for best performance. Overall I am really pleased with it!!!

Ever since Spectrum brought this out to my house, it has been very unreliable. It just drops service at least twice a day.... EVERYDAY! I have to un plug it to reset it daily.
