Not a quick project but well worth it
Holy crows this thing is a bit of a beast to put together. The instructions are actually really detailed and didn't steer us wrong at any turn when we took it very steadily step-by-step, but it still took the better part of an afternoon to put this cabinet together. Be aware that this is not a quick-build project, but on the flip side, don't be too intimidated when you open up the package to find a few dozen wooden pieces and a giant clusterF of bags of hardware bits and bobs that all seem to look alike. Everything is really well labeled and guides you through--just take it one step at a time and you can do it!I also highly recommend making this a pair project if you can. Some of the steps are just easier with a third hand, and it's MUCH easier to have one person man the instructions and the bags of screws and such while the other person does the doing. What really gets you, I think, is all the little decorative pieces and fancy ways that it's constructed so that it looks nice in the end while still being sturdy--but boy does it look nice in the end, and it really is sturdy. Don't be tempted to skimp on some of the steps (like adding glue to your dowels, or adding dowels AND locking cam bolts); it's really worth it to build in all that extra reinforcement. This thing is steady and solid--much moreso than something just put together with a few twists of an allen wrench and a sharp unfinished edge along your wall (not that I don't have a number of those in my home, too). The downside is that if you're someone who moves a lot, this piece of furniture is not coming apart anytime soon, so it's not something you can disassemble and reassemble quickly in a new space. The upside is that it's not coming apart anytime soon on accident, either, so it's sturdy enough you could certainly move it in one piece.Fully assembled, it looks sleek and modern, but not just cheap, and the black is actually a really lovely deep black with no flaws in the paint job, on mine anyway. The cabinets and drawer function well (the drawer was the most intimidating part to put together, but worth it!) and overall I'm incredibly pleased.I'm not using this as a microwave cart so I can't attest to its usefulness in holding microwaves, but I am using it as an altar so if you're in the market for an enclosed altar space without paying a ridiculous amount of money or building one yourself, this is a top recommend for me.The main shelf sits at between table and counter height so it's good to sit in front of but not so low to the ground as to feel strange standing free in your room. The top shelf is still low enough to interact with while standing, making for a nice double layer of usable space. The little cave-like space it creates is easy to stack small display shelves up against without fear of things falling off the edges or down the back, and tall enough to burn low candles inside without being dangerous (anything taller than a little chime candle, though, I'd put on top). The black is nice by itself, or it's easy to decorate by tacking up a small backdrop. Additionally, the vent hole comes with a cover so it's easy enough to ignore.A note: I did replace the drawer pull and cabinet pulls with some pretty floral ones I found, and the screws they came with were too long to keep the handles snug in place. Luckily, the gauge of screw was the same (and hopefully is universal) so I was able to use the screws that came with the drawer/cabinet pulls from the original package with my new ones! Just something to keep in mind if you're planning on replacing those.

Beautiful
I read a lot of reviews regarding this piece and I was a little worried about how difficult it would be to put together. It was complicated but if you take your time and follow the instructions you should have it together in about an hour and a half. Believe me you will be glad you did. Its beautiful and sturdy. It looks great in my kitchen.

Meh
There is no hole for cords. There is a vent hole, but that's it.Hardware packaging is confusing. Too many different letters per package.

Great product but assembly was a project!
Exactly what I wanted however it came in a million pieces. They could’ve at least put the hinges, tracks, etc on.

Great item for great price!
I looked high and low for the perfect sized cabinet for a coffee station in my kitchen and that didnt look cheap for a good price. This is definitely it in my opinion! I love it and so does everyone else that has seen it! I highly recommend it!

Don’t waste your time or money.
Not very sturdy, not easy to assemble so many pieces, doesn't fit my microwave.

Installation nightmare
I've assembled a LOT of flat pack furniture over the years. This one was easily the worst. Some of the instructions were incorrect (wrong holes shown in the picture) and the doors were obnoxiously difficult to install because I don't have six hands. The hinges aren't adjustable. For my left door I ended up with having to choose between not having it line up with the magnet or loosening a screw and having the door slightly loose. The drawer jams when closing, you have to wiggle and force it closed. This is also the first furniture I've ever assembled that uses wood glue to secure the wooden dowels. Most furniture ensures that the holes are a tight fit for the dowels. Not the case here. I definitely would not recommend this product.
