Works great, fish love it and so do the plants. It is not noisy at all, easy to install.

It’s pretty simple and cheap, but works great! I have Fluval canister filters, and the full flow setting felt like a category 5 hurricane blowing through in my tanks. I can now run my filters on full blast without stressing out the fish, and still have the benefit of increased filtration. I initially purchased one to try it out, but ended up buying another one for my second tank. It can also be cut fit smaller tanks like the one in my video, and I have no issues with it leaking or anything. Just be mindful of where the end cap is when you are cutting the pipe.

To make a long spray bar you combine 2 pieces with a rubber connector. It is not as attractive as I would like, one continuous bar would be nice, but it works fine. The pieces are easy to install and the surface agitation that the aquarium has is helpful for oxygen transfer. I am glad I added this to my Fluval 307 canister filter. This has been a good addition to the aquarium

Perfect for tuning your Fluval canister filter outflow. I have a Fluval 307 & the single standard outlet gives a pretty intense outflow & current which many fish do not like. It spreads the outflow through a 15 or 30 inch extension pipe making the outflow current evenly distributed over the entire aquarium surface instead of one spot. It only takes about 1 minute to install & also muffles the sound of gurgling water from a single output since it uses many smaller holes instead of one, which was an unexpected bonus.

I really wish there was a "premium" pack for the Fluval filters that would just include this, some more filter media, and maybe the skimmer intake. This is allowing me to run my 407 at full tilt without creating too terribly much disturbance in the tank. I may have to dial it back a little when I start stocking my tank, but it's in the realm where it might be okay as is. The bar is actually just about the perfect size for my 40 breeder tank, filling about 90% of the width. The best way to run it seems to be keeping it submerged 2-3 inches, tilted upward to create some surface agitation and forward moving current. Really if you have anything other than fish that love high current this seems like it's almost a requirement for these higher flow filters. If you're handy, you could maybe make one yourself, but it boils down to what sort of result you're looking for, what materials and tools you have, and how much you value your time. I had this in and running in under ten minutes.

My big global filter made my tank a whirlpool and this bar spread the flow out to a gentle current. Perfect solution.
