These bottles do not leak if you install the nipple properly. You need to make sure you pull the nipple on fully in order to avoid leakage. When we first started using the bottles, we had leaking, but once we realized we attached the nipples incorrectly, we haven't had any problems since. The manual that comes with the bottles has a clear description of how to attach the nipples properly, so make sure to look at it prior to using.Our little one absolutely loves these bottles and has no problem breastfeeding when I'm at home and then using these bottles while I'm away. He's even let me feed him a couple times using these bottles in situations where I'm unable to breastfeed him. Perhaps he prefers these bottles to the breast? Since the beginning, we've used the nipples that came with the bottles and have not switched to a faster flow nipple. Our little one seems ok with this as he's gotten older, so we have no plans to switch. The slower flow nipple helps ensure that he's not choking down milk because it's coming out too fast. Plus as your baby gets older, his suck becomes a lot more powerful, so the slow flow shouldn't get in way. We've never had a problem with our little one having gas after using these bottles either.There was even an instance where I neglected to bring a pacifier for a long car ride. I was able to hold this bottle to his mouth and he used it as a pacifier to fall asleep in the car. This was a last resort when nothing else would work and we knew he just needed help falling asleep. Now, I wouldn't recommend using this as a pacifier, but this just shows how much he likes the bottles :)The bottles have been used daily for the past 6 months and have held up nicely. I personally prefer to hand wash the bottles and then sanitize using a microwaveable sanitizer. I can't speak to how they perform if run through the dishwasher regularly.

I have a almost 6 year old girl and an almost 1 year old boy. So, we bought the original Avent bottles for my girl 6 years ago. Even before she was born, we had a ton of bottles and all the accessories for it. And then it happened. It leaked like hell. But, we were so heavily invested in it that we didn't even think of trying another brand. And, as time went on, we learnt some tricks and we were able to manage quite well.Fast forward 5 years. Before my son was born I swore I wouldn't buy an Avent. My son was breastfed and we tried the medella bottles that came with the pump during the transition phase. He hated it, I hated it and my wife hated it. Well, on the bright side, there was at least one thing we all agreed on. But, the bottle wasn't working. I started looking and this was a new kind of Avent and all the comparison reviews talked about how this doesn't leak at all, so I bought a pair and we all fell in love with it. Because, it didn't leak and the my son smoothly transitioned into it. So I thought not bad at all..... Now, why is it magic, you ask?So, you remember times when you mix formula in the car using the formula dispenser and try to feed the baby, and he doesn't drink, then you just put it in the front seat cover, conveniently forget the bottle and come back to it the next day? I do. And I also remember throwing n number of bottles because of this. Gone are those days my friend. It magic because all you do is take this ugly bottle with curdled milk in it and rinse once with plain water and its gone! Really. I don't work for Avent. Try it. I mean don't the forget the bottle in the car for a day, but if you do, try it.

We have twin boys, age 11, with Eosinophilic Esophagitis and Eosinophilic Colitis. They are on a prescription medical formula which they get via syringe at home and at school. We needed bottles for their prescription formula, Neocate Junior. We use the bottles to store and to transport their formula as it is much easier pre-making them then to rely on school staff. It also insures that they are getting the correct amount especially if we pre-measure their formula at home. We had the NUK bottles since 2010 and they worked good for us up until now. NUK does not make "sealing lids/caps" for their bottles only disc and their new line only has moveable disc which makes it hard for the school staff so therefore I had to search for new bottles with "sealing lids/caps." I purchased the wide-mouth Avent bottles and the "sealing lids/caps" separately. We are extremely happy with our purchase although the price is very steep. We hope that more companies start making bottles such as Avent because Eosinophilic Diseases are on the rise and becoming more easily diagnosed. As parents, these bottles are exactly what we need to safely transport our children's life saving food in the form of a prescription medical formula. Thanks for making a great item. We'd love to see the price a bit more consumer friendly especially for the EoE community. Thanks again. P.S. We need about 18 more of these bottles/lids.

We returned another brand said to be good for gas with inner blue tubes, but all the did was leak. These Avents only leak if baby intentionally shakes them to make a mess as my son now loves to do. But before this, they didn't leak. Highly recommend. A year and half later, with only been hand washed, they have minimal scratches from occasional kicks or steps, but do not have stains and the nipples are in perfect shape.

Es la segunda ocacion que compro biberones de esta marca, ya que es mi segundo bebe y no tengo quejas de su calidad, lo único malo es que, al menos con la leche que yo uso, se pega mucho en la mamila y se vuleve complicado de quitar, de cualquier manera, la marca recomienda que se cambien las mamilas cada tres meses por lo que será la solución, otro inconveniente, que realmente pasa con todos los biberones es que el olor de la leche se queda penetrado después de un tiempo, pero es normal por ser bibi de plastico, sí en tu caso te desagrada esto, creo que te podrían convenir mejor los biberones de vidrio que maneja la misma marca. En cuanto a la entrega, todo super bien e incluso llego con annterioridad a la fecha establecida de entrega. Y para finalizar, antes de hacer el pedido yo tenía la duda de que velocidad de goteo traían las mamilas que vienen con los bibis, pero nunca encontre esa información en la publicación, deberían de ponerla!, en mi caso necesitaba mamilas para recien nacido (1) y por suerte los biberones llegaron con esas mamilas, pero deberían informarnos, o mejor aún, dar a escojer con que tipo de flujo en las mamilas deseamos los biberones, al final de cuentas en unos meses cuando los bibis ya no me sirvan (porque oleran demasiado a leche como echada a perder, no porque se descompongan) tendre que comprar otros y sí traen las mismas mamilas no me servirán porque mi bebe ya habrá crecido y necesitará más fluojo de leche

El producto resulto ser todo lo que esperaba.Si hay algo que podria apuntar es la impresión del logo y la escala, a simple vista pareciera "barato" pero en realidad si es duradero ya que no se ha desgastado nada.

Los biberones y productos para bebé de esta marca son de primera calidad. Es mi segundo bebé, y disfruta su formula láctea tomándola de estos biberones, no le causan ningún malestar, cólicos o molestia.Ampliamente recomendados.
