Perfect for writing and inking art including coloring books

I bought these pens because some of my Sakura microns were running low, and so in the middle of this drawing I switched to Pitt pens, couldn’t be happier! The pitts are definitely darker than the microns and can be used in the same drawing without notice to anyone else. I will continue buying pitts as I find them to be darker and maybe even slightly better quality than microns. But microns aren’t bad. I have not applied watercolors over my drawing yet but both are said to be waterproof

As a professional artist, I bought packs of these pens regularly. Mostly just to use the size S and XS. They do the job. However, the pens always dry out while working. I have to lick the nib or scribble on my hand/pants to get the ink flowing again. This happens with every Faber Castell fine nib I use. I finally got so annoyed by it that I switched to Microns (which haven't dried out on me once and are always smooth.) Better, more expensive tools are worth it in the end. But these pens are affordable and still worth buying if you want a decent sketchbook pen. I used a size S Faber Castell marker on the drawings I shared.

I like these pens a lot! I purchased a black set and these brownish ones. I use them all the time for doodling in a sketch book, and sometimes I use them for other art and craft applications. So far, I haven't had any problems with them, I haven't had any skipping or stopping. I'm a left hand writer, and I haven't had any trouble with smearing - maybe the smearing depends on the surface, too.

Obsessed with these. Amazing control for ink drawings. Dries quickly. Easy in hand. The tips are precise. The 0.3 is a game changer for details. Brush is ok and great for creating outlines to work with regular brushes and ink. Made about 30 decent sized drawings and they are still going strong.

I'm a big fan of these PITT pen sets. I always have my black set on hand, and I snap up these different coloured sets when ever I see them. The ink lays down dense and smooth, no messing around, and these give a nice variation in line weight with pressure (more variation than you get from Micron pens). This is 'Sanguine' colour. It's a bit less red than I was expecting, and I'd probably just think of it as a sepia. It looks great for line art, giving a soft and sophisticated look in comparison to a plain black drawing. It is rich enough to look like something a bit different, but it is still neutral enough not to jump out as a 'coloured ink'.

Bonne tenue en main, glisse facilement sur le papier qui n'est pas percé par l'encre. J'en suis très content.

Perfect tip sizes, do not bleed through as much as, say, stabilo fineliners do. Waterproof!
