Will inflate large tires
I have had many 12 volt tire inflators. This is by far the best. I have inflated large full sized tractor tires. Inflating this large of tire the unit will get warm but so will large commercial compressors. Just give it time to cool. I tried to do the same with the Vivair brand that is so popular. It still works but will blow the 15 amp fuse supplied so had to add a larger fuse to get it to run, not so with the Air Armor M240. I have had the unit a few years now. If you want a reliable air compressor it is worth the money. Sturdy case with room to carry tire repair kit. Extra long hose, great unit.

Seems to be a solid air compressor and looks badass!
The media could not be loaded. Air compressor works pretty well for airing up big mud terrain tires (35" x 12.5" on 17" wheels, that's a lot of volume). Just got it today and tested it out going from 25psi to 65psi in under 10 minutes. It ended up overshooting while I tried to estimate the air pressure based on the accuracy table they provide, and a quick check at 65 psi on the gauge. At 65psi on the compressor gauge it showed 62psi on the portable air pressure gauge so I went to 68psi on the compressor gauge and found the portable tire pressure gauge to be at 68psi, also, at the 10 minute mark. Outside air temperature was about 70 degrees at 1500ft elevation. Expect slower performance at higher elevations due to lower ambient air density/pressure. Will test that later. Approximate temperature of the compressor reached around 180 degrees Fahrenheit, by the time I had a chance to get a picture of it I read about 173 degrees on the side of the compressor. Pretty hot to touch, but not unexpected for an air compressor, especially one inside an ammo can!The quick disconnect cable works great, no leaks and easy to operate, and the tire valve adapter lock works very well. Never used one with a lever but it seems to work nicely and easily. After 10 minutes of operation 100% duty cycle the battery cables were not getting hot, just barely warm, so they are sized properly. The kit includes a few various adapters, valve stem removal tool and replacements, tire repair, tire pressure gauges, and all fit within the "ammo can" very well. Inside walls around the compressor are barely warm, and even the top of the housing where the onboard pressure gauge is mounted only reached 116 degrees F.One last point is that the compressor noise is pretty minimal compared to a lot of air compressors. I uploaded a video which hopefully shows the audio isn't too bad. Remember to turn the unit on before connecting to the tire and be sure to keep the vehicle running while running the compressor. Also interesting to see that the company is actually in my city. Definitely love the ammo can style and feel! It's just like an ammo can!

Great product!
This tire inflator is awesome! It’s all self contained in the ammo box and very easy to use. The hose is plenty long enough for most vehicles. I love that the gauge is mounted on the compressor instead of the hose, no having to walk back and forth to shut the compressor off to check the air pressure in the tire you’re filling. It’s not the fastest at filling a tire, but it is fast enough. The ammunition can makes it easier to store and transport. Simply awesome.

Expected more...
Great box, nice kit and sound construction. The kit works and airs your tire up as advertised except...it does not air as ready as it claims. With my engine running, I averaged about 10 psi into a 315 (35") tire per four minutes. There's absolutely no way it'll air 35 psi into a tire in five minutes. 20 minutes maybe it'll air 35 psi but don't be fooled, a good kit but not great.

Best in class for what it does
Bottom Line: Excellent tire inflation unit for normal or off-road use at a reasonable price.Air Armor M240 is a great tire inflation device. I drive a Dodge Ram Rebel and this thing has no problem inflating all the tires in a reasonable amount of time. It hooks straight to the truck battery and easily reaches around the truck to inflate all four tires without having to re-position the unit. It has a pretty solid construction and as expected weighs about 18-20 lbs. It can be stored easily in a Rambox, bed tool box, or trunk. Probably wouldn't fit under a seat. The only real gripe I have about this product is the lack of a digital pressure gauge. The fact the pressure gauge markings as a while are sort of confusing. The pressure readings are not well marked. I have to compare what I think the gauge is saying to the tire pressure reader on my dash to see if I'm in the right ballpark. I can't say I am a fan of that. This product would be much improved if the gauge was replaced with something that is all digital.Otherwise, really good product.

This is what you need
This is what I have been looking for, I have used it to air tires up and the air bags on my truck. Heavy duty and fits in the tool box and protected in the heavy duty box. Nice to know you have it with you in case of emergencies. The extra items that come with it is a great addition also, Not only does it look great it works great too.

Airs up tires the same as the expensive ones.
This little compressor works amazingly. I've had it several months and used it many times on the trail. It works just as good as some of my buddies 300 to 500$ onboard air systems. I can inflate my tires just as fast as they can, and it cost me a lot less. I love that it comes in an ammo can which protects it, and fits great between the back see and the tailgate on my CJ7.

Great thing to have.
Perfect for airing up after the trail drive. Good to have on board for any instance that may require air. Only downfall I can find is that the connector can be hard to attach to some stems depending on the rim. Personally, I replaced them with straight on lock clip connectors and it did the trick. I have 2 vehicles and there is one in each.
