I bought this Orbit mechanical water timer because I wanted a simple way to water the lawn without forgetting to turn the hose off. It connects easily, the dial is clear, and it does exactly what I need: starts manually and shuts the water off automatically. No batteries, no app, no Wi-Fi — just a basic mechanical timer that is easy to use. It is not a precision irrigation controller, so I would not expect minute-perfect accuracy, but for garden watering, sprinklers, or preventing wasted water, it works well. Overall, this is a practical and useful little tool. Simple, inexpensive, and worth having if you use a hose regularly.

Works well. Easy to install and set up in minutes. Small and functional. Set to the time you want to water and let it be. Its very inexpensive, yet saves me from forgetting to turn off the sprinkler. At this price if it works for more than one season its a win.

This timer is great. No more forgetting to turn off a sprinkler. Simply turn it on to the time you desire and walk away. Plastic is sturdy, durable.

What can be said about a lawn sprinkler - it works. This one is a little more expensive that some of the others but it works and works well. And oh so easy to adjust. Most of the time I get soaked when trying to adjust the pattern. Not with this one. Some engineer stayed awake in class and got this design right. Multiple spray patters and, as I said, oh so east to adjust. Worth the extra cost.

These things are great. This one in particular is inexpensive and does the trick. I have to water the new sod patches in sections. This timer makes it easy: place the sprinkler, set the timer for an hour, and go do something else. I don't remember if there were any instructions or even a box. The only thing for special attention is the little black tab under the edge of the dial at the OUT side of the unit. Press it down to disengage the dial so the dial will turn easily to the desired setting. No batteries, non-rusting plastic, easy to read dial, durable outside, and priced right. Just what I was looking for at a great price.

Just that it works very well. If you’re looking for it to turn on by itself and then off by itself, this is not the time for you. I tended to always leave my sprinkler on and it would keep going up to two hours before I remember to turn it off with This I can set it for half an hour or 15 minutes or whatever I want up to two hours and it turns off automatically. Well worth the money.
