DANISH ENDURANCE Merino Wool Dress Socks for Men & Women, Crew, 3 & 5-Pack

I've read at plenty of places that Merino wool blend socks are better for my feet. I work delivery and I wear my shoes up to 12 hours a day non-stop. And my feet does sweat. I previously bought some other Merino wool socks from other sources, and when I found these on Amazon, which comes out to be the same price when you include shipping, I had to try them. And they are good. I ordered the largest size which fits my feet. The socks look really tight, and they are thin dress socks. They wear just fine. The texture was really soft. And they did keep my feet dry during the day (which I found to my dismay when I had to go a day without socks, and it was not a pleasant feel) better than the cotton blend crew socks I wear earlier. After I am done with the socks in the day, they are MUCH MUCH wider (I have very tall feet). There is very little elasticity. However, after a wash and dry, they are back to normal size. So it's not a problem, just a bit... weird. All in all, these merino wool blend socks are good value, not TOO much more than the cotton socks. If you want thicker socks, these are not it, but they are light weight yet very absorbant socks.

These have turned out to be by far my *favorite* light hiking socks. Over the 6 years since I bought 3 pairs, I've tried a bunch of others like Darn Tough, Smartwool and some others. These are way cheaper and work great. Somehow, I put holes in pure Merino socks really fast, so need a blend with nylon/polyamide. These are only 30% wool, with about 30% each of nylon and acrylic. Sometimes the fabric feels a little stiff as I'm putting them on in the morning, but they feel good on trail and last like crazy. One of the 3 pairs finally got holes after like 50 long hikes, but the others are going strong. They're fairly thin, so not intended for significant cold. But as long as I'm moving and it's over maybe 40F/5C, they are great even when I have to step into a stream in my trail runners. And their thin construction means they dry out fairly fast Was initially dubious because the Danish branding seemed so random. But the little flags on the back are fun and I almost always wear these on trail. Best hiking clothing purchase I've ever made aside from my Brynje mesh shirt!

Apparently, when I placed my order for these DANISH ENDURANCE Merino Wool Dress Socks (in black), I somehow selected "2" quantity, so I now have six pair of these socks. This is my honest review, and just my opinion: The socks appear to be high quality with a nice weave. The fabric is woven tightly, so the socks have a smoothe, clean look to them, with no "fuzzies" visible (I'm not saying the socks are tight on your leg!) When you put them on, they don't stretch to where you can see through the fabric to your skin. They continue to look like pitch-black socks. So good. I wear a US size 12 shoe, and these seem to fit nicely heel to toe. I've deducted a star, but should say it's not really about quality. They are good socks, but they are "thin" socks. There is NO additional cushion in the toe or heel sections. They're one thickness end-to-end, and they're thin. I think they would be perfect as sock liners when you're layering up for trekking in boots. Unfortunately, I spend at least 5 days a week in dress slacks and business shoes, and was looking for something with a little more in the heel and toe area. I plan to look at the same brand to see if they have something thicker in dress socks. I'm yammering, so to sum it up! They're GOOD quality socks! They breathe well, and they LOOK good. Not too short, not too tall. And I'm not seeing ANY lint or dog hair on them! (I have a husky). I'll keep 'em for now and look for something thicker. If you're looking for a well-made thin, breathable summer/fall sock, this is your sock! Look no further.

I just wanted some versatile socks that were a dark color, comfortable, not too thick, not too thin, that were also inexpensive and that I could buy a lot of/replace easily. These were almost that. I have a size 10.5 (US) foot and bought the Men's 9.5-12.5 size and honestly there's always material bunched up at the heal or the toes, and they don't stay on my calf either. So after a few hours the socks are all over the place and bunched up in different places and become pretty uncomfortable. I find myself adjusting them many times per day. The build quality and material is great, however. These are pretty decent quality for the price, the fit just does not work for me. I'm almost considering buying a smaller size to see if that addresses my issues but I'm worried about wasting another $10 (at the time of writing) and getting 3 more pairs of socks that don't fit.

It's a crapshoot trying to find thin, wool dress socks... these are only 30% wool but are pretty nice. a bit large for my size 7.5 lady foot but will likely shrink a bit. Roomy is better than too tight! They have a wide band at the top, so no digging into your calf. Overall, a good purchase.

I just ordered and received these socks as I wanted something that provided the wicking properties of my hiking socks but thinner. I have worn all three pair over the last three day and I must say they are good! My feet never got overheated but also stayed dry while working in all types of conditions in hiking boots. These socks appear to be well made and should stand up to regular use for a long time. Just keep in mind they are thin like dress socks so they will leave a little room in your shoes if you are used to wearing thicker socks.

These are the thinnest socks I have ever bought. I can see through them. Don’t expect to last more than two or three washings.

I ordered the grey 3pk in US mens xize 9.5-12.5 and I loved them so much that I decided to order some black ones in the exact same size. The black ones are a complete different feel and a complete different size. It's not worth my time to send them back. Buyer take note of size differences in pic. I am a size 11 mens in US. Update: I reordered the grey socks again, thinking that maybe it was just the black that came in a larger size. Nope. This was a reorder taken directly from my original order of the first grey socks and the came much bigger as well. You can see that the foot portion is the same size, but the upper portion is much longer. I am returning them this time. I am disappointed that I can't simply get the socks in the length that I received the first time. Summery: I ordered these socks three times, from the same exact link and ordered in the same exact size, and all three times, the socks arrived in different sizes. The second time they were both longer in the foot and the rise, and the third time, they were the same length in the foot as the first order but a higher rise.

I'm loving these socks, I'm really surprised they are holding up to my big toes which can tear a hole in shoes. I commute on a skateboard, no holes yet and comfortable, keeps feet dry. Excellent price/value.

Terrible. These are a very thin version of Danish Endurance socks. Package was labelled dress socks but I dont see that on the website.

These are really nice socks. I just got them in the mail today and I'm wearing them now. They feel great.

Reçues rapidement et conformes à la description. Elles sont confortables à porter et assez chaudes malgré le fait qu'elles ne sont pas trop épaisses, et c'est exactement ce que je recherchais. Elles semblent être de bonne qualité, mais il faut bien sûr voir comment elles vont durer dans le temps, je vais essayer de revenir compléter mon avis après quelques mois d'utilisation.
