StormsureTUFF Tape Self Adhesive Repair Roll 20mm Wide x 10m Long for Stitched Seams

I've used this tape in it's other varieties (sizes mostly) for different applications. I proved to be an excellent solution for quick fixes on camping trips and even for fixing a trampoline mat (combined with their adhesive glue that comes in tubes)► GeneralLike most tapes, you will need to surface to be clean from any debris and dust. Its specially works well on smooth surfaces like waterproof jackets, tents, wetsuits and more. Application is pretty easy and fast. No need to wait for most applications. Best thing is that it's waterproof and will hold for a long time. It's also flexible so if the material it was applied on is flexible, it will keep that material flexibility to some degree► Applications ExperienceWell, I've used it on a few things:1. Trampoline mat together with the glue tube it really worked very well. However the tape will require replacing once in a while (about a year in my case) specially if you have live in an area with wide range of temperatures. Cold/snow/wet/heat etc, will affect the tape. The glue however is unaffected and holds without an issue. The tape is more like an extra protective layer in this case and provide a smooth finish and way, for bigger holes, to bond the glue around the surface2. SUP - had a small puncture in my inflatable SUP and decided to use this tape. It worked like a charm. Application was easy and it didn't surrender to the air pressure when I re inflated the SUP3. Waterproof jacket - this was on my son's jacket which got torn in one of our hikes. It's was raining so it was hard to dry the torn area but still we had it patched and it hold for the remaining of out hike. Obviously it's a quick fix that will hold for a while but to visually nice so...4. Tent - That was really useful. Had the ground sheet torn by some sharp stone. Had it patched with the tape and that's it. The tent was functional like nothing had happened (well beside visually presence but no beg deal, for me at least)✅ Pros: Works very well on smooth surfaces, Waterproof, Holds for long, Various applications❌ Cons: Works best with the, not included, glue tubeOverall it a great tape that can be used for a variety of applications and no doubt it will be useful to have laying around or part of your camping/hiking trips pack list. Recommended!

I like to keep a wide variety of tapes (and glues) on hand and this Tuff tape is a new member of my redneck repair arsenal. This stuff is very soft and flexible. It also disappears similar to Scotch Magic tape. After application use friction to make it really melt into the surface. They say you can use this on fabric but it doesn’t work well for that (for me at least). Where it shines is in use on hard and soft plastics as well as PVC and vinyl surfaces. I had excellent success with it on a tarp and a tent. I’ll be keeping this tape on hand indefinitely now.

Pro’s:* You get a decent amount of tape on the roll* Tape is very tacky once separated from the backing* Sticks best to smoother surfaces* Tape is clear to opaque so it blends with whatever its applied toCon’s:* None at present, but time outdoors on the stuff I repaired will give this a good testFinal thoughts: So far I've applied this to my Grill cover and Lawn furniture coves to repair rips and gashes. I'm hopeful this will survive the constant change in elements, so at this time I'lll report that I'm impressed with the initial repair, but will remain guarded for now. I received this Stormsure TUFF Tape for free as part of the Vine program but feel I’ve given a fair unbiased review. I’ll come back to update my review if anything changes my opinion on this tape.

The tape would not stick to surface. Would not recommend.

I have used this once and was very happy with it. I mainly ordered it to have in my tape collection and to have when camping. I have used similar tapes in the past and have been happy.I am happy to have this.

Does not stick to nylon tent fabric as seam tape.

This works well for repairing my dry bags, umbrellas etc. I keep it around as it sticks well and works but sure you follow the instructions though! The only issue I found was taking the backing paper off, but once I’d found the knack of doing it, it was just fine

Nothing to dislike does an excellent job.

I haven't used this tape yet but my experience with other Stormsure products has been good so I'm expecting this tape to be the same.

Good for reinforcing broken straps on bags etc use with Stormsure sealant.

I have an outdoor jacket made of a fine weave material and the tape was lifting on some of the seams. I cleaned and dried the jacket and tried to replace the seam tape but it just would not stick. I guess the tape would work on nylon/plastic type material with no weave but for me it was a waste of money and a big disappointment.
