Can I use this French Press to make espresso?

No. While a French Press makes a very strong, full-bodied coffee, it will not produce the concentration, texture, or crema required to be called espresso. KICHLY press is ideal for making lattes, cappuccinos, and strong iced coffee.

Can I use the French Press for anything besides coffee?

Absolutely. It works perfectly as a tea infuser for loose leaf tea or to make flavorful infused water. Just ensure you clean the filter thoroughly between uses so your tea doesn't taste like coffee (and vice versa!).

Is the glass carafe durable? Will it break easily?

Our carafe is crafted from durable borosilicate glass. While it is stronger than standard glass, treat it with care by avoiding hard impacts and always place it gently on surfaces.

What is the best type of coffee grind to use?

Always use a coarse, uniform grind. Fine or pre-ground coffee will slip through the mesh filter, resulting in a murky cup and potentially clogging the filter. The grind should look like coarse sea salt.

Can I use this French Press to make cold brew coffee?

Yes! The French Press is an excellent tool for making cold brew. Simply add your coarse grounds and cold water, let it steep in the refrigerator for 12-24 hours, and then plunge and serve.
