Easy to wear, comfortable even when joints are swollen.
I have bad arthritis and the pain in my knuckles sometimes can be excruciating and it's very difficult to pick anything up without some sort of support on my finger. I tried using a splint, which helped, but it was too rigid, and I couldn't function with it. I also needed something that could be put over my Voltaren or lineament to keep it on my finger. These little gel covers work fantastically. They give support without being overly rigid like the splint.. I can also put my Voltaren or Biofreeze on and then put this over it and sleep without having it feel uncomfortable. They are extremely easy to wash, and you can just let them sit for a few seconds and they dry quickly. As far as the sizing I found, they fit my fingers with no problems whatsoever, whether they are swollen or not because of the fact that they are expandable, they expand to match your finger and they are very comfortable. In my opinion, they are well worth the money. I am glad I purchased them..

Amazing
These finger covers are amazing. My fingers start to ache bad after writing a large amount of notes, and I also use to hold my pencil wrong as a kid so I have a bony callus on my ring finger on my right hand that will burn after enough time holding my hand in the writing position and these are amazing with keeping my ring finger from getting inflamed and keeping my writing finger from having a sore indent from holding the pencil too hard. They are easy to slip on your finger and donโt slide up and down at all. They are super stretchy too. I will say with a little time of using the same one over and over, it does pickup any dirt on your skin and it starts to change from light blue to slightly darker, but I just start using a new one when that happens. Also it does get a little sweaty inside after enough time of writing, so I normally take breaks and pull it off my finger to let it air out

Good cushioning to protect fingers while drawing and doing average daily tasks.
I have nerve and tendon issues in my right ring finger that was made worse when I sprained it doing housework in March. I spend much of my day working on illustrations and writing, which puts excess pressure on the upper joint of this finger and causes soreness and fatigue. I think a bit of arthritis might also be at fault. I decided to try these sleeves to see if the would alleviate some of the discomfort as I work. Fortunately, they do! I found these sleeves too long at first, as I only need to cover the top joint in my finger, but cutting them in half made them the right size (see attached photo). They reduce pressure on the joint that results from gripping pens, pencils and paint brushes much of the day. My hands feel less fatigued as a result. After cutting them in half, I also now have enough of these sleeves to last me for several months and don't expect to need replacements before the end of the year. As far as downsides go, there are a few minor annoyances that I've come across while wearing these sleeves. First, being that they are made of silicon, they can lock in moisture and make the underlying area sweaty. This can make them just a little uncomfortable when you're wearing them for an extended period of time, as I do. Second, they can also act as erasers if they slide over your paper when you are drawing or writing in pencil. Woops! I've inadvertently lifted a few pencil sketches this way. I have to remember to keep a small sheet of paper between my hand and the surface I'm drawing or writing on to avoid this, though as it also prevents general smudging, it's a good practice anyway. Lastly, they are silicone. They will hold up to light use, but I wouldn't do anything too aggressive while wearing them, as I don't think they would hold up. If you're drawing, writing or doing other typical day-to-day tasks, they should be fine. These sleeves are definitely worth trying if you need a bit of extra cushion to protect fingers over the course of the day, but they do have a few drawbacks to keep in mind. Your experiences with them may vary, depending on your needs. For me, they do the job, don't cost much and I have no major complaints. ** Note: If you found this review helpful, please mark it helpful to let me know and help other buyers. Thanks! **

You need to get these to protect your fingers highly highly recommend!
This is my third time ordering this product. I love them! They really protect my fingers. I am an autoimmune patient who has scleroderma that is affecting my fingers and my hands. My fingernails are falling off due to this condition and t These protectors cover my fingernails and provide cushioning. I would say they are about 16th of an inch thick and if you do heavy work the extra padding really comes in handy. They're easily washable and they retain their shape. Flexible to do work with and they last a long time. The problem is with me is that I take them off and I lose them my fault. I worked with would and heavy items and it's still protects my fingers. They come long enough where you can cut off excess to fit your finger length. I highly recommend this product for anyone wanting to protect your fingers.

Doesn't work for me
I got these for crocheting but the yarn doesn't slide over the product...otherwise they are good

... protect my finger from the sharp point of the finer gauge hooks
I bought these to use while crocheting to protect my finger from the sharp point of the finer gauge hooks. I am really impressed with their comfort and flexibility. My finger is no longer sore from self inflicted stabbings. No more blood on those baby sweaters. I gave a few to my husband to try out during a golf game since he always ends up with blistered fingers despite taping them. He came home and raved about them. He's used them at least four times since and they are still in great shape. He won't be using tape ever again. I thought the pretty purple would ensure they'd be all mine. Apparently not. I did try them on all my fingers at once like the picture because why not? There is an immediate, marked lack of dexterity. Don't do this at home. The silicone sleeves sort of stuck together and my efforts to remove them were greatly hampered. Also, cat hair seems to stick to them and while they are easily rinsed, the cats weren't particularly impressed with either me or the sleeves. I ordered a second bag. I'm sending samples to my crafty friends. Best thing since my discovery of morning coffee. Sliced bread, meh.

Durable enough for me!
Because of nerve damage, I have lost some fine motor control - specifically, in this instance, the fingertip grip that is super helpful with crochet. I have learned how to grip my work with thumb and first knuckle instead. The downside of this is that when I'm working with stiffer yarn, it scrapes against my finger like sandpaper. When I started getting sores, I knew I had to find something to help. These finger sleeves are great protection. They are a little snug getting on and off, and they are a little more bulky than I'd like, but they work exactly as hoped. Bonus: When I accidentally hook the edge of the sleeve, the material has been bouncing back without getting stretched out or otherwise damaged. I'm pretty happy with them.

Great cover length, but needs to be tighter.
These are long enough to cover my whole finger, and kept it well protected. However they were too loose and kept slipping off, which made it pretty ineffective. I also wished there were other color options like tan/beige because the black color just draws a lot of attention and is distracting.

Better than to use bandages
Just as described. It's used to protect my painful cracked skin when applying ointment on my digit. It's a better substitute than to use a bandage or a thin latex finger cot to cover the ointment and helps to heal quicker. It can be damaged by heat, so remove it when you are cooking at home.

Also good for Eczema
I did not buy the Sleeve Protectors for Arthritis, I bought them for eczema on my thumb and finger. I use them instead of band aids as a protector during the day. It can get wet and does not fall off, keeps the skin moist so that the skin does not crack and bleed. It works, for me.

Very Stretchy & quite Large
These silicone finger protectors are great for larger fingers but be warned they do not come in sizes so I can only use it on my thumb and will have to buy some other protection for my other fingers. They do a good job of protecting my thumb which was being cut by sewing with fishing line.

Sticks to everything.
Too thick and they stick to everything. Fine aside from that.
