Amazingly Sharp& precise! My dense sourdough bread was a mess with my old bread knife... THIS GORGEOUS PIECE OF ART, slices my sourdough paper thin&&& NO crumbs!!! I didn’t even need to use the sawing motion!!!WHAT A BEAUTIFUL GIFT TO MYSELF!

Scary sharp.
Slicing fresh bread is tedious, mind numbingly work. With this beauty, perfectly cut bread ever time, without reducing the loaf to a hockey puck.

The quality of the knife is fantastic...but LOL
These are great knives, my other knives (Chef 10, 8, and 6) as well as the Kiritsuke have straight spines. The bread knife (9in) as well as the Bunka (7) had spines that deviated off center significantly...so I sent them back, will see if they are straight second time around.

Impressive quality and performance
I just sliced some bread with this knife for the first time yesterday and I was so impressed. The knife is weighted perfectly and the design is stunning!

After buying a lot of deli knives I finally found a good one.
Bought several knives for the sandwich deli. This is by far the best one and totally worth it.It’s performance sharpness and ability to hold its edge are superior to any others I got.The looks of it made my sandwich guy at first say “no I can’t use this it is too nice for work”
