HONBAY Sectional Couch with Storage Ottoman, L Shaped Sofa for Living Room, Beige

I really can't say enough good things about this couch. PROS Shipping Speed - It arrived very quickly, within a few days of ordering. Assembly - As others have mentioned, this couch is very simple to assemble. Almost everything just snaps into place. The only things that had to be screwed on where the legs and the screws that connects the two base parts of the couch together and all of that can be done by hand. No tools were needed in assembly. Comfort - After ordering, I noticed several reviews that mentioned the back was not cushioned enough and uncomfortable. Personally, I don't feel that way. It feels very comfortable to me. For those who do need a little more cushion, you can easily add polyfill to the back cushions or just add some throw pillows. Size - We live in an RV full time and this couch is perfect for the small space we have. It fits perfectly in our slide area, and my girlfriend and I and both of our kids and our dog are all comfortably stretched out on it. Support - We expected this from the reviews we read, but the 3 boxes did not all come at once. Amazon only provides one tracking number, so I reached out to the seller for a tracking number for the 3rd box. They responded the same day and provided all 3 tracking numbers, so I was able to see the 2 that were delivered and track the 3rd which came the day after the first 2. I would recommend reaching out to the seller as soon as you order for all 3 tracking numbers, for more accurate tracking. CONS Shipping - It does arrive separately as others have said. For us it worked out well because we received the boxes with the back cushions in it first and were able to let those fluff up while we waited for the last box to arrive. As I suggested earlier, I would message the seller for the 3 separate tracking orders once you have ordered so that you have a better idea of when each piece will arrive. Smell - Another reviewer mentioned a very strong chemical smell. I didn't notice it at all in the first two boxes that arrived, but the last box which was the long end of the couch does have a little bit of a smell. We are in a small space in an RV and it has not been too overwhelming for us, but we are leaving the windows open when weather permits just to be safe and air out the smell. Overall, I think this is a fantastic couch for the price - especially if you need it for a smaller space.

I was looking for something reasonable without the huge commitment on price. The goal: -Convertibility (converts to emulate a bed) -Modularity (can be used in different arrangements) -Sturdiness (I'm a handsome 360) -Comfort (a gamble. Gotta be comfortable) -Style (can't clash with the decorum) -Price (adorable without a huge investment in something I may not like) Convertibility (5/5) - This couch was needed for the game room to turn from a couch to a bed for when my nephews come over. Modularity (5/5) - This easily breaks apart to create more seating for visitors. So useful that I bought one for the living room. Worked well for Thanksgiving seating. Sturdiness (4/5) - I'm a luscious 360lb man and surprisingly, this couch is extremely supportive! Now, I don't go around crushing couches under the pressure of my lusciousness, but considering this comes through the mail, I was surprised at the sturdiness and build quality. Since you have to assemble it, the right side is less-sturdy than the left (because it's an attachment, not one solid piece), but it does not take away from how good the couches are. To reiterate, I bought a second one. Comfort (4/5) - This is extremely important for any seating solution, moreso for something bought online. I can safely say that this couch is COMFORTABLE! Not all cushions are the same (the long, double-wide ottoman is stiffer than the main cushions) but they are all very comfortable - with nice support. When I get the time, I eat lunch in the game room in these couches, and it's a great relief from work. On many occasions I've found myself falling asleep because there's just something about it that you can just lose yourself. Also, I'm 5' 10" and I have no problem with my feet. I don't need to elevate it on the arm rest just to get comfortable. But, I have done that before and it wasn't an issue. The one thing I would love more is for the backrest to be higher. The support is good, but a higher backrest would go a long way toward comfort. I sometimes turn the pillow vertically to get better beech support when I want it. Also, the back pillows could use a little more fluffiness. But, you can always add a throw pillow into the mix to get the comfort you need. This is not a deal breaker because, if I haven't mentioned before, I bought this model twice. Style (5/5) - This collection is simple but very attractive. The dark blueish-gray is sublime. Doesn't overwhelm the room by being too dark or cartoonishly bright. It's subtle and sophisticated. Also putting up a good fight is the light gray. OMG it fits my living room so perfectly. It blends well with the grayish-brown carpet, and it disappears into my white walls. It looks spectacular, and I continue to get compliments on these two couches... Because if you didn't know, I bought these couches twice! Price (5/5) - Price is the reason we're all here. You want someone affordable, but you don't want to get stuck with something you won't like. You will like these. Compared to your traditional furniture store couch, this is way more affordable! Although I wish it was Prime-eligible so I don't have to pay for shipping, given what I got, the shipping fee was worth it. Both times. Because, y'know...

I had been searching for a couch for my new apartment since I moved in Sept. 2022. I knew it had to be small-ish since I didn’t have a huge space but I knew I wanted a chaise addition or (preferably) a couch that doubled as a bed. I found this one and went immediately to the reviews to see if it actually reflected the 4.2 / 5 star review it has. There are many mixed reviews about this couch not being comfortable and looking disjointed and what not. Here’s my honest opinion: I love this couch. I had never bought a couch (online or in person) ever before so I knew it was going to be a gamble. I did my research and settled on this couch. Mainly because it COMES IN 3 BOXES and I needed that since my entryway stairwell is tight and steep (I can’t fit a couch already put together through my door frame or entryway). I received 2 of the 3 packages about 5 days after I ordered it, reached out to the seller the next day for a tracking number for the 3rd and they provided it that day. Wonderful! Noticed a day later same shipping status on my order so I reached back out to the company and they had me wait another day to make sure FedEx received the order. They did not receive the order but the company sent my 3rd package through right away and I received it roughly 3 days after that. I put the couch together that same day and it looked and worked great. I gave it the few days for the cushions to regain their shape and get fluffy and it has been great since I put together. The ottoman storage is perfect for extra blankets and pillows and the size is perfect for the space I have. I was hesitant I wasn’t going to have much room to walk past my couch to my bedroom, but it worked out great to where I have more than enough room to walk past while not having my couch against the wall and covering my heat vent. All in all: very comfortable couch, easy process from order to delivery, and easy communication from the selling company. It’s perfect for my small space and makes a great addition!

There were a few bad reviews for this, and I was SUPER nervous to buy a couch like this, but most of the reviews were good to I took a chance and I am HAPPY I did. The cushions are firm, but very comfortable. I wasn't sure if the fabric, given the price point, would feel a little rough, but it doesn't. The fabric is very soft. The cushions plumped correctly (see my hint). Some complained about the feet being plastic, but it didn't bother me and they are very sturdy. The hinges on the ottoman are good quality piano hinges and stay open without assistance. I was a little nervous about how beige the couch was as pictured because I am not a beige fan, but didn't want the dark blue or grey. I was pleasantly surprised that it is more of a sand color than a darker beige. It came in 3 boxes (all the same day). One weighed 67# and the other two about 50# each. I was able to put it together by myself in 47 minutes. HELPFUL HINTS: 1) Watch the little video that is here on the listing. I watched it several times before I unboxed it, and watched it as I was putting the pieces together. 2) The footstool (or one part of the couch... I can't remember... see photo) comes with pieces in it and two boards (the ones that you are supposed to use to fluff the pillow) are wedged on top. DON'T try and hammer those pieces loose. Instead, push down on the piece inside to allow the board to come loose. Then you can take one of the cushions out and the other board will easily come out. This was initially a conundrum for me because the boards were wedged in there so tightly that I wasn't sure if they were a part of the couch or not. I initially tried to hammer it loose, but ended up ripping a little of the black fabric before I realized I needed to push down on the piece inside to get enough give for the board to come out. 3) I opened the cushions and let them sit for a while and beat on them with the sticks.... BUT.... the best way is to (once they have fluffed up some) is to put them back in their bag and put them in the dash of your car in full sun. They all plumped up perfectly and it took about 2 hours. I did go in and flip them over half way through. You don't have to put them back in the back, but I didn't want any dirt from my dash on the new cushion. I hope the hints helped. I have already recommended it to several friends.

First I'd like to thank everyone that wrote positive reviews and encouraged me to give this set a try. I am a senior now and in the process of downsizing. I had selected three sets; this one and two others from known furniture stores. The price of those were much higher and I assumed the quality would be much better, but the reviews on this Honbay convinced me to give this a try. I am so happy that I did. Not only did I save money but it was simple to assemble and the quality is great for the price. Yes, it says for a small spaces, but because of the ability to convert the chase , it provides adequate seating for up to seven people. I love the large ottoman which provides space for storage or clutter in a quick pickup in the event of unexpected company. And speaking of company, I have invited people over to see my new space. Everyone loves it and has complimented the quality, the texture and they gasp at the price. I included a photo with my review which I hope will help others to decide on this set and I hope you will like it as much as I do.

The long cushion has failed to fully expand. I contacted the seller multiple times regarding this situation. They told me that they “Don’t have any more long cushions or covers in the fabric I purchased and didn’t know when they would have more. They offered to send me 2 cushions to stuff into the long cover and suggested that I try to iron the cover to remove the wrinkles! It’s vinyl!!! After several emails back and forth with me asking that they escalate this issue to a supervisor, miraculously they ‘found’ a long cushion with a brown cover that they are supposed to send me. I have yet to receive it. The sofa itself was easily assembled by one person. It’s not rocket surgery, after all. And it’s comfortable to relax on. But with the half deflated cushion and wrinkles in the cover, it’s pretty unsightly.

As the title said - this was easy to assemble. No tools required and was an easy one person job. It does show up in three different boxes, which was even three different shipments in my case. One box came around noon yesterday, another box later in the evening, and the final box (ottoman) arrived today. Packaging was good and the color was as expected. I also included a picture of the ottoman fully open as some brought this up as an issue. It is a limited opening, but its fine for my purpose. The two problems I have with this are: 1) The lounger side uses completely different cushions than the rest of the set. This leaves the sofa uneven as shown in the picture. It leaves for a poor appearance and probably unusable as a sleeper if that is what someone expects. This was after 24 hours of allowing the cushions to expand (was the first box I received), so that is not the cause. 2) The back cushions are not thick enough to prevent you from feeling the back rest and where it stops. Makes it a tad uncomfortable. This is just for my basement so I'm ok with it, but if you want apartment quality furniture this may not be the set for you.

This couch ships in THREE packages. It says so right on the description page for the couch. So when I received only 1 package, and the order was marked as delivered - I panicked. I was only shipped 1 of the 3 packages. 1/3 of a couch. I waited about a week for the other two packages to arrive, but they never did. Amazon customer service was of no help - I had to reach out to the seller. After about a week of back and forth between the seller and I, trying to figure out which package of the 3 I had received, and which I still needed - I was offered two options: 1. keep the 1/3 of the couch I had received and accept a PARTIAL refund for the parts I didn't. This was no good. I can't do anything with 1/3 of a couch. or 2. they would re-ship the missing 2/3 of the couch. I went with option 2 - and even though the delivery was a day later than I was originally told, they arrived. SO BE WARY. I know deliveries are a hot mess right now - but just know. This comes in 3 packages and you're going to want all 3 if you want to get what you paid for! Now, shipping nightmare aside, the couch is incredibly easy to assemble. I'm talking less than 10 minutes with a helper. Even by yourself, 15 minutes, tops. It may seem like some pieces don't fit right, but a little wiggling usually gets them into place. And again, like others are saying - there are parts "hidden" that you will need to find. The legs for the large storage ottoman are INSIDE of the ottoman itself. And the legs/washers/knobs were underneath the couch section from 'Box A'. It's all there - just look around a bit. The couch is comfortable and the color is exactly as advertised. The quality and size of the couch are pretty great for the price. Hopefully I don't come to regret those words in the coming months. If it weren't for the shipping disaster, it would be a 5 star product for me. Even though the customer service was great, and they were very willing to make it right for me, not having anywhere to sit for 3 weeks after moving lost them 1 star.
