About what I expected it to be. Given that I live in the desert South West with xeriscape grounds, I don't have much and don't need much in the way of gardening tools to maintain my property. I began planning to build my own shed from scratch only to find out that the material was going to cost me as much if not more than this shed for the same benefit. It came as promised in a box that was in pretty good shape for its size and weight. After reading other reviews it became abundantly clear that this shed was going to require a flat, level and stable base for it to go together right and for the doors to work well. If you have a flat slab or a deck to situate it on, you should be OK. I had neither. I used 12 X 12 pavers to make the base and that project took a full work day. Your mileage may vary depending on your substrate. The assembly of the shed took me a little over an hour and could have been less if I had not run into a slight problem. For some reason, the panels were damaged at the bottoms. The edges were mushroomed out such that they would not fit into the base channels. When I figured out what was up I trimmed the panels with a utility knife and things went well after that. I say "for some reason" because as mentioned there was no damage to the box so I have to assume it happened during manufacture or perhaps packing. There was another strange condition as well. As you'll notice in the pictures there is a slot on the outside of one of the doors. Each door has a slot on the inside for indexing the position of the hinges but, one on the outside seems to have no purpose and probably shouldn't be there. The five stars remain as one issue was easily remedied, the other is just aesthetic not preventing the shed from being a shed and the door hinges are working well. I was able to find some shelving at the Orange Store by Rubbermaid that worked very well. They are 1/2" particle board laminated in vinyl with a gray color that compliments the shed. For the time being, I'm going to rely on the weight of the contents and a cement block to help the shed stay put but I'm thinking that won't be enough where I live as the next haboob just might take it for a ride. Concrete anchors are in order. This shed is nothing approaching what I could have built on my own but it is getting the job done for a bit less money and a lot less work. I won't be showing this thing off to the neighbors anytime soon but I am pleased with the purchase thus far.

The good: -Aesthetically I like the style. -Tall enough for garden tools, deep enough to add some half shelves to maximize space. -Bottom floor is formed plastic, seems fairly sturdy and is one piece. -Easy to put together with only one person and could be done with a screwdriver. (However, it is much easier to brace when applying force if you have a helper, much faster if you have a power drill, and a rubber mallet helps to negotiate the pieces into place without damaging them.) The bad: -Handles are different than the listing photos, and only have a weak little plastic clip to keep it shut. I would have preferred the one in the photo. -The walls are not very sturdy material. I dropped the box in my driveway while carrying it up, and a stray rock poked through the cardboard and was enough to crack through the wall partway. I do intend to install shelves with the provided brackets, but will not be putting anything heavy on them out of concern for the strength of the walls. -The door hinges themselves are metal, but the nubs they rest on to swivel are plastic. They seem kind of soft, and I’m a little worried how they might hold up over a few years. -There are some areas where the walls/doors meet the roof that seem a little poorly designed. Might not keep out the weather as much as I would like, but I do not intend to store anything fragile in there. Overall, if I have to buy a shed again I might try out one of the cheaper metal models. I know folks say they are also a pain to assemble, but for the price I don’t know if I would buy this again.

Purchased a few years ago. Product was holding up well, but a few weeks ago one of the door parts broke. Contacted the company online to purchase the replacement part, but they promptly shipped me the part at no charge. Overall excellent experience with this product and their customer service.

Do not buy this product!!! It's made with very cheap materials that easily can break and bend. Took two hours to assemble and as soon as I finsihed and wanted to move it a couple feet to its final destination on my outdoor fence, half of the closet came off the hinges with the easiest amount of pressure. Doors did not open correctly either as the cheap plastic cover bent over the door to inped them from opening. I highly doubt this product can withstand any amount of wind during colder months nor be able to stand rain or snow as there are cracks between the door as well as in the plastic sidings that barely stay in place. My daughter's Lego toys are more durable and provide a better outdoor storage then this piece of junk. Also my mother bought this is a gift for us and English is not her first language and she assumed the closet came w shelves. Which after looking at the item every picture has shelves in the picture. and even one picture has a close up of shelves only to find out no shelves are included in the description after you click on more info. I would understand how that would be confusing to a person who is elderly and English isn't their primary language. Please do not even consider this item not even for a second. Ended up buying a Rubbermaid that was 100 times better in quality and durability. FYI I work in construction and plumbing and I was just appalled at the level of cheapness in this product.

After researching and looking at various out door shed designs I decided to get this Keter shed. Although the instructions recommends two people at various points during the assembly process - it only took just myself about 1 1/2 hours to put this shed together properly from ‘start to finish’. Having said that - here is MY recommendations for having a “stress free” experience in doing this: 1- ENSURE you have a properly prepared ‘base’ to set this shed on. You’ll want to have a FLAT - LEVEL & STABLE ‘base’ that will make FULL contact with shed’s plastic base! (Do NOT set the shed on ‘posts’ or any method that does NOT provide a LEVELED and solid base!) Again: I can’t stress this point more if you expect this shed to perform correctly and remain stable, square and long lasting! 2- REVIEW the directions CAREFULLY - DO NOT ‘skip ahead’ on any of the numbered ‘steps’. 3- Most, but not ALL pieces are carefully labeled and ‘match’ what you see in the assembly directions. HOWEVER: the ‘pictures’ and diagrams on the instructions can be ‘matched’ to any non-labeled pieces by carefully matching by ‘looks’. Take extra time to MAKE SURE you have PROPERLY ‘oriented’ any pieces BEFORE screwing them together! 4- IF you use a impact drill to put in the screws: use the LOWEST torque setting so you don’t ‘overdrive’ and strip the screw insertion points. The shed is PLASTIC - so don’t overtighten the screws! Again: make SURE you don’t overtighten the screws for this shed! 5- There are three different screw sizes used on this shed - make SURE you use the proper ‘sizes’ where indicated on the instructions. 6- This shed comes with (12) small right angled ‘clips’ for installing two shelves. You will need to provide the ‘shelf material’ that you can get at any big box hardware store. The instructions recommend a 12” deep shelf - but you can go deeper if needed (16” to 18”). The width of the shelf needs to be at least 51” in order to ensure you have full ‘side to side’ contact - cut the shelf width accordingly. 7- The finished ‘roof’ slants slightly enough to the back of the shed to permit ‘rain run-off’ (another reason to ensure you have properly LEVELED base that the shed is placed on!) 8- The instructions say that you ‘can’ paint the walls of this shed. But - the plastic color is pleasant enough as it is - and I wouldn’t paint it and have to maintain the paint finish! 9- There are two metal door hinges that you should ‘oil’ or spray some lubrication on the pivot points of the hinges. 10- Step back after finishing up and ENJOY YOUR NEW KETER SHED!

I’ve Had it for two years and can give a review based on time and quality. It’s ok but some things are dissatisfying. The door on the right is loose and falling apart. Being hard to control is not what I bought it for, especially being an elderly person.

This shed came as described and went togeather well. Unfortunately it will not work if overstuffed with tools or is used by highschool kids, which was not the products fault. Good for home use.

When I searched for a cabinet/enclosure/shed I was after something to put my 55 inch led smart TV in and protect it through all seasons from the weather and thief’s!!! I’ve had mine for over a year and so far it’s been spectacular! The only problem I’ve had is the quality of the door panel hinges and bezels. My right side door panel has been severed from the bottom door panel bezel and bottom hinge. I could fix it if the company could sell me the bottom bezel piece. Other than that wearing out already it’s been fantastic! Some sort of a locking mechanism in the middle area would help stop thieves from trying too break in. The padlock works but isn’t strong enough in my opinion. If the company would contact me about the bottom piece I’d greatly appreciate it and pay for it. I’ve attached pics of the bad bezel and hinge.

The best I have ever bought and I have bought a few in my time (Senior Citizen), good quality, easy assembly and it is 100% weatherproof ! Shelves cannot be overloaded - tend to bend a bit - however, that's an operator error and not the manufacturers'. Definitely 5 star.

The product itself is very good. It was relatively easy to put together as the diagrams were easy to follow. However we are struggling to find shelves to fit the product. Therefore if you wish to utilise the use of the brackets for shelving you will be very disappointed.
