Finally a food that works!
My dog has totally gobbled this food. He has bouts of pancreatitis with other food with too much fat but not with this food-finally! I mix with a bit of kibble from Hills specifically for dogs with pancreatitis and this has been a game changer. Definitely recommend and worth the price.

Best dog food Vet recommend recommended
This is the best dog food. I can’t say much for the price however it is very expensive. However, my dog got pancreatitis and had to be put on this food. She really likes it and she’s lost 2 1/2 pounds which she really needed to do. I have to admit that the consistency is like pâté & very sticky not appealing to me at all however, I’m not eating it…LOL. I will continue to buy it but have to admit that six dollars a can is awfully high priced. However, my dog’s worth it.

Have been buying this for Fergie when diagnose with pancreatitis. She loves it, but I have been mixing it lately with other pate dog food, to ween her off as a test. My vet says pancreatitis can come and go. So far episodes, just make sure never give your dog kibbles.

My vet ordered this for my 8 pound - 12 year old shih tzu after a bout with pancreatitis. She loves this food. The cans are 13 0z and she eats the recommended amount of 3 quarter can a day. She licks her lips when I show her the plate. To say that she was a finicky eater all her life is it an understatement. With this food, there is no hesitation. Also, because she’s eating every meal, her energy level has picked up appreciably. Yes, the food is pricey, but I’m no longer dumping away food that she wouldn’t touch. In the long run, I’m saving money and feel good that she is finally enjoying eating. Also, on auto delivery to my front door by Amazon, I save gas by not needing to drive to my vets office. I see it as a win-win for both my dog and me!
