Demon Mechanic Ski and Snowboard Tuning Wax Kit with Universal Wax, Base Cleaner, Demon Slide Waxing Iron and Waxing Apron

My son was extremely happy with this kit, he was able to get his snowboard cleaned, waxed, and all turned up. Kit included everything he needed.

This kit has everything you need to tune your snowboard, and I guess skis. The iron heats up fast and works well. I only use it two or three times a season/year so I can’t comment on its longevity, but it doesn’t seem cheap. It’s definitely worth it if you want to tune your own equipment.

As a newbie to waxing our skis and snowboards, I struggled with what to purchase. I chose this kit because purchasing the items I wanted separately would have been more than the price of this kit. And all the other kits I looked at were either offering way more than what I needed, or missing an item or to that I needed. So, I chose this kit for the price point and what I felt I needed. Although it has more items than what I needed to start doing my own ski/snowboard waxing, it turned out to work just fine. I will grow into this kit as I get more experienced, and learn how to tune. Only had enough wax for a few waxing tasks ... I need to buy wax now!

I have a separate sharpener with more grits so I don't use this for the sharpening accessories but the waxing and cleaning works perfect. The iron heats up quickly and is easy to find the right temperate to heat the wax without letting it smoke. Used it twice so far and the wax it comes with has been great and has zero issues.

Easy to use, has what you need, compact kit makes it easy to throw in a bag and head up to the mountain.

It's my first kit, so I don't have anything to compare it to, but it all works well ...easy to use...I do wish it had more ptex, but that's ok. Good buy, if you need a wax kit.

It would be useful to have instructions how to sharpen the skis. Even the YouTube videos are not clear

I used this product for my snowboard maintenance. It came with very precise instructions so it was very easy to wax out the snowboard at home. I highly recommend this product!
