If your screen is dim, Hold power button while tapping off button. This adjusts the contrast.
Works exactly as expected. When I first got it the display was very dim, and I thought it was defective, but as it turns out I just needed to follow the contrast adjustment steps that are outlined in the user manual. RTFM lol
