Solid Pliers for BIG Snap Rings
Yeah, the tolerance on the pin diameters is ridiculous. I don't know what forging process sloppiness can introduce such variation. Even greatly different pin diameters on the two jaws of one plier! Buy something else for your little snap rings.But if you need pliers for a massive snap ring, these are big and solid. You probably have a grinder able to dress the ends if the diameter is too big. The plier metal hardness is evident when you grind them.What, were you expecting Snap-On quality at $8 / plier? Buy them for your occasional big snap ring job. My Saab engine oil pump for instance. You will be satisfied.

Seem very well made for the price, were a bit bigger than I thought and k had to file the tips to get them into the snap rings I bought them for.

Way better then I expected!!!
I baught a set off the Mac truck but the pins for snap ring were to small to use on my 01 Saab.. 300$ spent on those.These were cheap in price and worked perfectly!Honestly I wouldn't consider a tool set complete withought these.

Watch out . Don't trust this product for time sensitive jobs!!
Their easy to use. . just the poorest in quality control.. tips measure at 0.150".. they are supposed to be 0.090" or 2.3mm. . .Totally unusable for anything is need. Returned due to this issue

These are a very sturdy set of snap ring pliers. Easy to handle and very efficient. These work well for larger rings where confinement isn't an issue.
