OUTSTANDING WIND SCREEN
OUTSTANDING WIND SCREEN. If you have used other mid-grade screens, and think 'hey, this is pretty good' and you believe that's as good as it gets -- not so. This puppy blocks a bit of room noise, cuts the Ps, Fs, et cetera significantly, and does not remove any of the range you want to keep. Great feel and denseness to the foam. Perfect fit for M147.

Works great, a little pricy.
This fits my microphone perfectly. Kind of pricy for a piece of foam, but I won't likely have to get another one anytime soon.

Quality Product
I use this windscreen on my Neumann TLM 103. It works great...and I still have a killer sound.

Varies from the one shown...would have given higher review.
This was not the one in the pick with the little dot on the front/back which was the reason I purchased it which was disappointing based on HOW expensive this thing was AND carrying the Neumann name. This windscreen is heavy and works well. Change the pick because SOME will send back because of that VERY reason.

Works great with my Heil PR40
I purchased this Windscreen for my TLM 103 and then ended up selling the mic on eBay. However, this Windscreen fits the Heil PR40 perfectly and now I use it everyday for recording audiobooks.

Best I've ever had!
I have had wind screens and foam filters from different makers for different mics over the years and have rarely liked them. For my C414 the included filter barely stops a medium breath let alone a pop or air but I have even stuck hip hop artists on my U87 using this filter without one obvious pop. In tests I did extreme rushes of air which got through but anyone who does that singing probably belongs only in a hot yoga studio. I thought this was too expensive until I received it. Now? It's always on the mic!

Photo shows a viewing hole
Mine arrived with no hole. My old u87 windscreen had the hole, but it was beginning to disintegrate. I rely on that viewport to know what pattern I'm on. *********? Update: I've now been to the studio to try the windscreen, and it turns out that it's shorter than my old one. As a result, the u87's pattern, pad, and rolloff are easily seen and switched. Maybe my old screen was designed to fit the (longer?) U47 ? 5 stars!

Looks identical to vintage version but foam texture is not as smooth and less densed.
I like the original looks. I don't like the foam texture and roughness of it.
