I bought this for my Darth Vader who needed this to battle with Jedi master. It doesn't light up or make sounds which we were aware of it before ordering. It is well constructed for a toy and has not broken so far even after many life threatining star war battles.

I used this as a prop in a Star Wars movie that we made at a Star Wars themed birthday party. Worked great. Only drawback would be that the handle is very much 'adult/authentic' sized while the saber part is a little short. Wasn't really a big deal for us though. It was durable enough to hold up during our 'fight scene'.

Not at all what i expected, especially for $40! Very disappointed and it was poorly packaged. There are no buttons, just one solid piece of plastic and it doesn't even light up.. I WOULDNT EVEN PAY $4 FOR THIS!! I hated everything about this product.. Just one big disappointment and you have some nerve charging $40 for this piece of garbage! Waste of time and money. I would give this negative stars if i could smh

This is a small light saber which I was prepared for but it does not appear to light up. I'm sure I just overlooked that fact but was still a bummer. Great price though!

The toy delivers. It is sturdy enough to meet a children's expectations. I have to say that this one in particular is a third of an inch longer than others from the series. We have another one and they tolerate all sorts of rough use and no signs of tearing, the scratches are unavoidable and it will depend on your child's use and care. I think is top quality. However this is an starter light saber, it won't meet an older children or teens realistic ideal. Be aware of this, in my opinion this is good up to 10 yrs. For a tall kid the toy will seem small and unrealistic.

It's good for what it is. I got it mainly for the hilt to completely my Darth Vader costume. There is no button to release the telescoping blade like on my Obi-Wan and Anakin Skywalker lightsabers but because I had it hanging on my belt with the blade side up it never accidentally extended. Once extended it can sometimes be hard to get certain sections of the blade to retract, but using some force and wiggling always gets it back eventually. There is a D-ring on the hilt to help hang it on your belt but it's very limited, there isn't much space to work with as there's another piece in the way so I had to attach another loop onto that.

My son already had a BladeBuilders lightsaber and was able to join this one to his existing lightsaber. Queue the Star Wars sound effects!

It looks used. Dirty, scratches, no light or sound. Very "plasty". Not satisfied at all!
