Ware Critter Totter Climb and Chew Toy for Hamsters, Gerbils, Mice, and Pet Rats

I love this and so does our hamster! It's so cute watching him walk across it and go down. He doesn't use it all the time but it's still fun. It's also a nice chew toy since we don't have a cage with bars. We have him in a reptile glass tank with a screen on top. I was up too many times when I was little, listening to my hamster chew on the bars! Very annoying! Our house is open and we don't have any place to put him except the kids room so the cats don't get at him. Now it's nice and quiet! And we got a quiet wheel too!

The construction of this toy was nice, and I actually thought it was kind of novel! However, my two rats were too large to enjoy the seesaw effect, so they spent less time playing on it and more time chewing it apart--which, I guess, is half of the enjoyment, so there's that. I suppose it's better suited to smaller, lighter rodents, but it did keep my pets entertained for as long as it took them to gnaw away the edges.

Cheaply made, was missing a crucial piece (one of the two pins to balance the seesaw). Don't waste your time or money.

Too small for rats (2 males) but I did expect that, however they weren't interested in it at all. I will try again later because they are fickle beasts.

My daughter's Serian hampster has absolutely no interest in this...but I just positioned one in the corner of the cage(after I pulled the base off) and used the other as a ramp to get to his new Perch...seemed to enjoy that at least...you get two sections so I guess if your creative you may find a use but otherwise it's just something for him to chew on...

and I think mine loves it too, until I put her with my friends for a month during vacation. She messed up everything in the cage, this included and the yellow poles kinda disappeared.I now use the green part as a balcony so it's ok

Works and looks great, plus delivered fast.Note: The product came in a different color than the one posted here, so if you are set on green you might wanna think about that.We are perfectly happy with it for our little Hammy.

This is adorable and great to watch them on. It is small so I use it for my mice. Only downside is they poop all over it so it must be cleaned regularly and set it on paper towels or a rag to dry as the color will bleed. Probably good for dwarf hamster too.
