Got the job done especially for a heavier book. I wasnt able to display the book with the pages open but the book sits on the stand nicely when its closed.

I love that this is sturdy, yet small and folds up, so I can stow it away. I do have to "crease" some of my thinner cookbooks so that they stay open, but I think I'd have to do that regardless of the stand. I like how the width is adjustable, too. Very convenient!

I love it! Looks super thin and small, but holds heavy books well. I love how minimalist and easy to carry around it is. I do wish it was a little more sturdy, but definitely not a huge issue. I love it!

First thing’s first - I really hated that this was shipped in a worn out obviously-used ziploc bag slapped with a shipping label. Never expected that. Second, item was so flimsy. The back part literally broke apart as soon as I got it out of the obviously-used ziploc bag. Item was listed as new - it clearly wasn’t at all. It was so worn out I had to super glue the part that kept on sliding off. I’m giving it one star because I was able to make it work, but Amazon should really inspect items sellers ship before allowing something like this.

I just needed a book holder for use in the kitchen for recipes I'm not familiar with yet. This is perfect! Light weight, folds to out of the way when not in use and is small when opened. Perfect in the kitchen. And the cost was very inexpensive. Glad I got it.

I like the idea it folds up to put in a drawer. But it's not tall enough to hold up a large cookbook.

I've needed a book stand that was portable but able to hold Large and Heavy Books. This has been most useful for me and did not disappoint.
