My youngest son loves making candles and this wax is awesome! I love the fact that it doesn't have a strong smell, so we can pick what smell we combine into it when making our candles. The fact that it is white means we also have the ability to make the candles whatever color we want. The wax melted easily on the stove and dried smoothly with no lumps or clumps. It burned nicely and we love the candles that we have made with it so far! Whether you are an adult or a child candle maker, I would recommend this wax, it's a great value for your money!

I bought this product for my baby’s baby shower and wanted to make these cute little details. I’ve been using this soy wax for my candles, and I absolutely love it! Right from the start, I noticed how clean and smooth it burns — way less soot compared to traditional paraffin wax, which keeps my candles looking great longer. I made candles in the late 60s and 70s. Doing so made one huge mess. I had to find steric acid to condition the crappy paraffin wax from the grocery store that shrinks as it cools, and refine the beeswax I used for batik to temper the paraffin so it would melt and burn more cleanly. Wicks came by the yard--limp, uncut, and unwaxed, so we'd have to prep them by sizing them to length, dipping them in wax, and trying to cool them straight hanging them on a taught string with clothespins. It was a real pain and made a mess. We used popsicle sticks with a tiny hole my dad drilled in them to hang the wicks over the top of the molds and used a drop of Elmer's glue to hold it to the bottom. This was "fiddly" to say the least. Then wait for the glue to dry before pouring or it would move. Fast forward to 2026 and this great kit. These wicks in the kit are "cut to length" for pint jars--so easy peasy and the results are professional quality. The soy wax, all flaked and ready to melt, the prepared wicks, the two sided sticky pads, and the metal holder designed for the pint jars eliminated all the mess and hassle. It's a snap! I'm done and waiting for it to cool in about fifteen minutes, spent watching over the melting pot. I can't say enough about the wicks and the ease of use--they uncomplicated old school candle-making for sure. They are mounted and pre-waxed so you can easily position them and they stay put as you pour. Anyone who can follow directions can make great candles!

This is a really lovely soy wax. The cold and hot throw are both excellent. Long burn time, as you'd expect for soy wax. Creamy white color undyed. I heat mine to 185F, add my fragrance oils at 9% load, stir gently for 1min15sec with a rubber spatula in back and forth motions to prevent the introduction of air, and pour right after. So I'm pouring pretty hot still. I don't even need to prewarm my vessels. The result is gorgeous, smooth tops that don't require any fixing. I haven't used the wicks it comes with because I have my own preferences, but maybe I'll try them to see how they perform too :). I'm very happy with this wax. Excellent performance for the price!

Melts easy, holds the fragrance oils well. Burn time is good as well. Holds the colors good and keeps its shape when making cute designs. I can’t seem to load a photo to show for some reason.
