Shortbread House of Edinburgh Handmade Mini Shortbread Biscuits with Mediterranean Lemon, 150g

These biscuits are really nice, they’re not too sweet, and they have a taste of lemon that isn't too strong, it’s the perfect balance. They’re not very big in terms of size, but the biscuits are bite size and very moreish. They are slightly more expensive, but that’s to be expected, as these are good quality biscuits

These shortbread biscuits are absolutely delicious! It says on the pack that they're handmade, and I believe that they are. They have that lovely home baked taste! 😋 Also, they're all slightly different shaped (not drastically) but just around the edges, where the pastry has been cut out with those little pastry cutters, and when they're popped into the oven to bake, they all rise at slightly different angles (a true sign of something which has been made by hand!) The beautiful, delicate smell of Sicilian lemons mixed with buttery biscuits is released as soon as you open the package and it's just heavenly! I'm not particularly a huge fan of lemons, so for anyone worrying that the lemon flavour might be too much, let me tell you, it isn't. The main thing you taste from start to finish, is buttery shortbread. The lemon flavour is definitely there, but it's subtle. I'll DEFINITELY be buying more of these! Especially as Amazon tends to have a habit of discontinuing things for long periods of time (sometimes indefinitely), so I'll be stocking up on these in case that happens! P.S. there were 16 biscuits in my pack.

With being a fan of the original shortbread from this brand, I fancied trying some of their other varieties so I bought a few different ones including this one and I was pleasantly surprised - it has quite a mellow lemon taste so not overpowering just refreshing so if you like lemon, give these a try. Shortbread House of Edinburgh really do excel when it comes to producing high quality shortbread.

lovely tasting biscutes, but glad i brought two packs as some were broken in one pack and i wouldn't have had enough for my needs.

I ordered these biscuits for part of my husband's gift for our anniversary. They arrived in good condition, and were fresh. The tasted absolutely delicious! Delicate lemon flavouring, whilst still maintaining that buttery goodness that shortbreads are known for. They didn't last long in our home. Highly recommend!!!

I'm a lemon lover, and shortbread cookies are my favorites. Finding these were like hitting the jackpot! They are HIGHLY addictive. They are small, about 3 bites, but SO GOOD! I'm going to stock up. The BEST lemon flavor!

Crumbly but tasty

I got these for a simple thank you gift. When they arrived, the seal was broken, box was busted due to lid being put on incorrectly, and cookies are broken and crumbled. The inner packs don’t look opened, but looks possibly like a retuned item. Can’t remark on flavor or freshness.

A great shortbread cookie with a wonderful essence of lemon. This one is a keeper!
