A pleasant and strong journey for the imagination in the mind
This is a wonderful book and an amazing author. I've read his other book "Here lies no one", and his talent, imagination and creativity just keeps improving. It is worth much more than its price. I already look forward for what's next.

SunRider: Book 1 (The SunRider Saga)
I really enjoyed reading this book. The storyline was interesting and well-written. Characters were well developed. I didn't want to put my tablet down even though I badly needed sleep. I am looking forward to reading book 2.I would definitely recommend this book.

This book is Great! After only a few pages I noticed myself being sucked into wanting to read more. I am not a reader in the slightest, I would say I do t really like to read. But I have highly enjoyed reading this book. Great job the the author, he has amazing potential.

Needs some refinement, but shows promise.
I confess, it's been some time since I finished this novel, but I was recently reminded that I never posted a review. My apologies to the author, because this book is definitely deserving of one. Set in a world that is alien and otherworldly and yet compellingly believable, filled with exciting action and clouded with mysteries, populated with slaves and tyrants, "SunRider" carries the feel of an epic. And I don't mean "epic" in the way its used by many of today's youth: "Wow, that's so epic!" No, I mean "epic" in the sense of timeless stories from classic literature that follow a hero on a sweeping journey and profoundly portray the highs and lows of human existence. "Epic" like "The Oddysey", "The Aeneid", and, more recently, "The Lord of the Rings." I'm not saying that Mr. Hohmann carries the talent of Homer or Tolkein, but "SunRider" carries a portion of that style. And, make no mistake, Hohmann does a competent job. With some editing polish, this book could be even better. My biggest complaint is the sometimes excessive violence.

An Epic First Novel
Hohmann has created a rich an interesting world that answers the question, "What if there were superheroes in a world of sword and sorcery?" Imagine The Avengers, only in a world of fantasy. The main character, Finn SunRider, (the Peter Parker of this world, if you will) embarks on a quest to become a hero. But he starts out first learning to become a friend. And that is one of my favorite parts about this story; the theme of friendship. Ignore what other reviewers have said about the relationship between Finn and Goblin. The author does a great job of bringing these two misfits together and he does a good job of explaining why these two have such an endearing friendship. I would recommend this book to readers of all ages who enjoy superheroes and fantasy.

Epic Storyline with Dynamic Characters
A must read for any individual who enjoys a combination of fantasy/magic, realism, science, and an exploration of societal norms with an emphasis on escaping classism or the mundane.

Fun read
Very good book, I liked the characters and the storyline is like a cross between a grimdark tale, lite fare, and epic fantasy. Very well told and I rushed through the reading in a day and a half. Looking forward to the next book.

Talented, creative author
You always run a risk when you read books that are not mainstream. That risk only grows when you read material from new authors who hope to create stories the world will remember. Rest easy my friends, this authors potential is limitless. While it may be rough around the edges, the story shines through with it's unique world, creative characters, and an ending that left me hungry for more in the best way.Expect a full review of the novel after my second read through :)

great new fantasy that shows a lot of promise
Starts a little slow and plays with some new ideas but settles down and is better for it. Very few recent books have had me checking for the sequel like this one has.

Slow burner that hots up,
In all honesty I nearly canned this book after the 1st 75 pages or so, but I'm really glad I didn't, it starts pretty slowly and then starts ramping up, but once it gets going it's a bit of a whirlwind sucking along pretty good pace, really enjoyed it and would read any sequels,
