Was very skeptical on this toilet seat even being remotely good, but it is perfect! Great fit easy install, loving it for $18.00! Color match isnt perfect, but nobody makes the same Blue as my 1976 American Standard toilet. If I want the same color, I got a quote for $175.00 for a color match seat, lol! This works just fine!

I think this was about my only choice for a blue toilet seat which came close to matching my toilet's color. I went to the local hardware store and they didn't have any blue seats in stock, but they told me to go to their website and order it. Well, it was half the price at another hardware store, and Amazon's price was basically the same, and with Prime shipping, I ended up getting it here. Installation was pretty smooth. As many have said here, no instructions, but after looking at it long enough (a couple of minutes), I figured it out. It seems to be on nice and tight, but I wish it did use a more conventional mounting system, as I'm not sure it will stay in place over the long run. It was replacing a soft blue seat, which was incompatible with my kid's trainer seat adapter, and was getting pretty torn up and uncomfortable to sit on, so this was a big step up in that regard. If the seat doesn't hold up over time, I'll be changing my review, but for now, the install went quickly (my kid didn't even notice I was gone for 10 minutes, and it was my first toilet seat replacement, so yay!), and it seems to be decent enough. UPDATE: I've had this on my toilet for about 18 months. It hasn't come off yet, but the locking mechanism seems to always come loose after a week or two. I find myself always taking a look at the back of the seat to see if I need to give it another twist. It's easy enough to do by hand, but still annoying. Knocking this one down to 4 stars from 5 for that.

Study, excellent toilet seat. Much better than the old, broken plastic seat my mom had been tolerating for decades. Good color match for her 1971 vintage blue toilet.

I'm on a medication called Methylene Blue which turns your urine blue and can stain a toilet seat. I know it sounds funny but this toilet seat is a perfect match in case there's any staining. However, it's extremely easy to clean compared to the last seat I had. Just a little bit of soap and water is enough. I had expected to need to mount it with all the screws and things within the Box, but it turns out my previous toilet seat had the same easy mounting system and this new one fit right on top without having to use the screws. So easy! And if I ever need to take it off, you just turn the little tabs to the side and lift up. The sea itself is very comfortable and although it's not particularly thick, it feels durable. I weigh almost 250 lb and it supports me fine. The light blue robin egg type color also matches the rest of my bathroom decor so that's another plus!

Bought this a while ago and it still holding up with the paint and the structure.

The build quality is very good, but the color paint faded in less than a year!

The toilet seat is absolutely gorgeous the craftsmanship is superb. I had a slight problem with ordering to wrong size, emailed them on the 20th of Sep and all sorted out by the 22 nd. Unbelievable, the service care with incredible. Would recommend the seat and would buy from the company in a heart beat. Exactly what old businesses and their ethics where built on. Thank you

The fittings did not fittings our armitage shanks toilet, entirely my fault as I had forgotten that the holes in ours were about 6.5” apart this seat states 5.5”. The seat itself is of were good quality, great hinges and identical to what we already had. So very disappointed that it didn’t fit. I Have had to make do with something else until I can find this seat with the correct spacing for my toilet
