4PC Saltwater Love Wish Akoya Pearl Oyster with Pearls Inside (6-8mm, 4PC)

We have only opened 2 of the 4 but they are very pretty. I read about cracked them around the edge while still in the packaging and that works well.

They weren't overly smelly unless you were trying to smell them. We cracked them outside and drew them like fortune cookies. Got one of each color. Great mermaid party activity.

Smaller than they were supposed to be. Colors were good.

My grandkids loved these! They took them out to the driveway to open. They do have a smell but not terrible. It takes some work to open them but it was worth it. The kids were thrilled to find the pearl inside. They were beautiful. Good teaching opportunity.

These oysters had sturdy shells so they were easy to pry open without shattering. I also got one of each color as pictured, the first time I've gotten a black or purple one. The pearls were a little small but very round, lustrous and unblemished. The smell was not intense but still unpleasant enough to make me dry heave, pretty much the only bad part of the experience.

The pearks were pretty but I don't feel they were naturally occurring as stated. I have gotten oysters before and had to actually releases the pear from the muscle inside. These seem as though the oyster was opened and the pearl placed inside. You could hear the pearl loosely rattling around. I wanted to hear mh daughter get grossed out by having to dig for the pearl to release it. 😫

kids were 10,14 and 36 - they all liked them the pearls were nice better than I expected - I would not go with the many multi colored one just stay with the ones that have 4 or 5 shades - my one Grand got a black pearl - just got my Val. day order fun cheap gift - I think you get a lot of fun for the money -- ask again next week--- ps do a little homework so you can explain how a pearl grows and what mother of pearl is -

They were fine unfortunately two of them did not have pearls in them. I messaged the seller and have heard nothing back.
