I have been using magnets for approximately 5 years now. What I knew at the time was that it is a safe alternative to managing pain, and I have been suffering with a herniated or slip disc problem for over 12 years now. Magnets are not magical, they bring the blood to the surface where there is a constriction of blood flow, and this eases up the pain in that area. I recently experienced for myself that it does help to release certain types of hormones that can help with depression. Recently I have been using this power pad on my back whilst I sit behind the computer and I noticed that whenever I used it a feeling of joy and happiness comes over me. At first I was not sure where the feeling of elation was coming from, but then I read that magnets help release hormones that control these feelings.In March 2012 I spend some time with my sister who without saying it, did not believe that my magnets were useful. However, one afternoon she got a severe cramp and was about to faint. Of course on hearing her screams, I panicked, but then remembered my 2 magnetic pads. I rushed to her and applied both pads on her legs with the north side towards her skin, within a few minutes she started getting a relief of her pain. I got her to relax and the pain went away with the assistance of the magnetic pad. This was not the first time that magnets helped with body cramps, I had used it before on a young man of about 16 years.

I took a bad fall and was left with painful bruised ribs and a very bruised knee cap and painful leg. I decided to give this alternative pain relief method a try. I used magnetic pad for 3 full days trying different time lengths. The result was more inflammation and swelling that ended up giving me more pain. I first tried it for 60 min on each part of the body with no decrease in pain. Then, I wore it against my ribs for 6 hrs and on my knee where the most bruising was for 4 hrs. I then tried sleeping with it on my ribs in hopes I would get a better night sleep. A complete fail with all tries. The longer I had it on resulted in bad swelling which created more pain. Not for me but it may work for others.

Works very fast. I have a sports injury which was result of over enthusiastic squatting with heavy weights in gym. With a slightly twisted femur I have suffered for over 2 years. This in combination with Cold Wrap helped me cut my pain in under 2 days from 100 level to 50 level. I noticed flexibility of my left hip has gone up. I keep it on as much as I can including the night.I checked the power with Trifield gaussmeter scale. I could not verify the claim of 13500 G per magnet. Having said that, it works like nothing I know of but an hour long expensive session of over $130 with a seasoned muscle thereapist

I originally purchased this pad almost 5 years ago. I loved that pad and the magnets were very strong and it was a noticeable difference when using it for joint pain. Unfortunately I misplaced the pad between moves.I purchased the pad again but was disappointed about the updated pad being much weaker. I wish I had a way to measure the difference but I would say it's at least 20-30% weaker than the last one I had.

I ordered this product for the second time, because I was VERY satisfied with the first one. Made of soft, flexible material, it conforms to the shape of the body, it was comfortable to wear. With the second order, a rigid, hard material arrived, which I cannot use.
