Initially I was afraid to purchase this but I'm glad I did!
I went out on a limb purchasing this because of it being DIY and in used to getting a wax done at the spa, however, I'm on a tight budget so I decided to try this. This product is very easy to use and the wax gets all the hair! If you follow the directions you will be fine! I love the temperature sensing wax stick and the fact that the wax can be easily removed with warm water. The wax has a nice smell and is easy to apply. This wax can be used for multiple purposes and can be reused. I love the wax strips can be used multiple times after rinsing them. My skin is nice and smooth and there's no bumps or redness. (My underarms are naturally dark). This definitely saved me a few coins! Glad I took a chance and purchased it! Now to try on my legs ๐

Worked better when texture is harder
I used it as a Brazilian wax, armpits, and on upper lip. It did not remove all hairs because some were too short down there but it did remove lots. Will try again in a month. It worked great on upper lip. My first time doing this area ever. Less painful than tweezers. For armpits, I heated in microwave. Too liquidy. I used the strips. Made a mess because I did not pull quickly. Yes, I chickened out. It worked great if done correctly. Pull quickly the strips. Note: I did not use strips for Brazilian or upper lip. I used the stick that came in the box to flicker the sugar wax and reused it for the same area. I found it works better if it is harder and not liquidy. So I would only heat 10 seconds incrementally if it is too hard to a piece out of the container. See examples in YouTube.

My go to wax for the price, BUT...
I love this wax. It smells good, easy to put on, easy to pull off, easy to wash off, and easy on my sensitive skin. They changed the wax strips that you lay on the wax to pull it off, though. They are lower quality and you get less of them, and it was already not many to begin with. I wish they sold a huge pack of strips to go with this wax kit. Another downside is that sometimes you have to go back over some spots more than once, which also takes up more strips. There was a better product very similar to this that also had eucalyptus, which was much better. I wish we had it in the US.

Almost worth it
I really liked the product. It smelled very nice and the smell wasnโt too heavy. Instructions were very clear and user friendly. Not sure because this is a sugar wax or not but it did not too much hurt at all. Score is low because the strips could have been bigger. You will be waxing a while to cover your whole leg with such small sections. Also the sugar wax removed hair yes but not all. I will have to go over my legs a second time to catch all the hairs. Thigh hairs barely removed at all so Iโm hoping for better results the second go around. Another thing I disliked was the strips are reusable however the buildup on the strips happens QUICK and makes it not really a good idea to use more than 2 times in a row without cleaning. For the best wax removal you would do best using 1 strip once but they do not provide you with many. If the actually hair removal was more successful this would be pretty great a product.

Folks just be lying.
I'm not going to lie I'm a first time at home waxer when I purchased this product. I followed the instructions to the letter. When I tell you that this mess does not work at all! I'm not lying to you. I like things to be simple and this product is a mess and it's not that it's complicated it's just that it's either too hot or it cools down too fast. Even when it seems like it is the right temperature with the right amount of hair you will be snatching and pulling all night trying to get it off just hurting yourself and wasting your time and money. No you may not be able to get the root out but I would prefer that you get a different product that is just like Nair. I hate that I didn't money trying to product test. When now it's just sitting in the box untouch.

An Excellent Choice for First-Time Waxers!
As a first-time waxer, I was a bit nervous about the whole process. However, after trying the VEET Sugar Wax Hair Remover, I can confidently say that it's the perfect product for beginners like me. One of the standout features of this product is its user-friendliness. The instructions are clear and easy to follow, making the waxing process a breeze, even for someone who has never done it before. The kit includes everything you need, including wax strips, spatula, and post-waxing wipes, so you don't have to buy any additional items.Considering the quality of the product and the number of applications you can get from a single kit, the VEET Sugar Wax Hair Remover is incredibly affordable. It's a cost-effective alternative to salon waxing, especially for those who want to try waxing at home for the first time. VEET Sugar Wax Hair Remover is an excellent choice for first-time waxers. It's easy to use, gentle on the skin, and delivers long-lasting results. With minimal mess and a budget-friendly price, it's a fantastic option for those looking to achieve smooth, hair-free skin from the comfort of their own home. I'm extremely satisfied with this product, and I highly recommend it to anyone considering waxing for the first time.

Far more difficult than sugar paste
Pros: It stays warm on it's own far longer than a normal sugar paste. It comes with all the bits you need to use it as is *** It does work when used the way they define (not the sugaring method) but do really read their instructions. Lid screws back on -- helpful if you are frequently moving it in luggage. Cons: If you are experienced with sugaring ... this is a sticky mess compared to sugar ball method. You will wonder why the paste never gets firm enough to work with--it will not get sugar ball firm!! You must use the woven strips. If you are totally new to sugaring, this will drive you away--sticky mess. Doesn't glide on like other options. Ingredient list is longer than it should be: sugar, water, lemon juice are all you need. This includes starch, oil, and fragrance. (why?!?) best use case after much consideration: are you experienced with sugaring but not great at doing it on your own? On the road and need the smallest travel sized option that can be secured for frequent jostling in luggage? This is okay for that. If you do not fit that narrow use case, get Luxury Sugar pro medium (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0734K93WM/) and a wax warmer. I needed this for an extended trip where I'm stuck in hotels with barely a microwave (hot kettle water works). The jar is compact, lid screws on tightly and the box is clearly labelled which makes the occassional customs stop easier. It's a pretty narrow use case. In th epast when I have had my own sugaring mix I have either had questions about the honey liquid in an unmarked container or a snap lid container with markings that tended to leak. Both trouble. I appreciate that veet tried, but it would help for them to have a sugar user on the team making decisions. This product feels like an MBA-wannabe made an executive decision about capitalizing on the "sugaring" trend without having the slightest idea why sugaring has been around for millennia. Product could have been good. It is not.

Works!
Epilation seems like a good alternative if I can cut down on buying disposable plastic razors every month. I had found an epilator to be painful and time consuming, I burned myself with a wax kit pretty badly, and was worried this might be equally painful. I am glad I tried this. It still comes with lots of plastic, but compared to buying razors, it is less waste overall. The mix smells incredible and helps me feel like I am at the spa. The instructions are clear and help you stay safe from burns. Best of all, the peel isn't painful like waxing or epilators are. The hair stays gone a bit longer than shaving, which saves waste as well. Downside, this is time consuming and takes a few tries to get the hang of things.
