DO NOT OVERFILL ABOVE FIVE CUPS! OR IT WILL LEAK.. AND BE NOT SAFE.
Update: It is very important not to fill it above 5 cup mark. The manual says between 3 and 5. I did not get the maunal with this item and when I was simply trying to fill it to the capacity leaving some two inches from the top then I experienced a heavy water leak while boiling and I did not know where it was coming from thinking there is abottom leak. So apparently it does NOT leak from the bottom, you just need to be very careful how much you feel up this thing. Look inside for Min Max marks that I also did not pay attention to and they are there... otherwise also the manual says: it has to be dry on the outsid and the base has to be dry while using so important safety issue. The manual is in your order record while you click the support button and follow instructions. I bought this pot some 6 months ago. Love it totally. I was very careful with choosing a pot as I love all things organic, clean, no plastic and non leaching materials, no aluminum and no coatings of a non stick type. So this felt like a good choice and it is indeed a healthy choice as I had a chance to browse ton of all different kinds. I finally settled for this one because: * I love the elegant design, in person is just gorgeous. It reminds me of those offered at Williams Sonoma site but this one is even nicer and cheaper. * I love the stainless steel interior. That was an absolute must for me as I don't like aluminum or glass as there are all kinds of impurities in glass. I also did not like the ones that have mixed materials inside, some glass, some metal, some plastic. This one is just that: PLAIN STAINLESS INSIDE. Not seams, no welding that could be contaminated, nothing, just plain one surface sleek and smooth. *The top is also stainless steel inside so no contamination. I often open the top for cooking anyway to let my water air as it boils to release any volatile chemicals that can go with the steam. * I love the design that is so practical and easy to use: - the holding arm is designed in funny way and I was wondering how pracitcal it will be but it is quite easy to use and hold and the angle is good. - The white finish is perfect gorgeous car like.. very good hard finish that will last. So easy to clean and does not attract dirt. - I love the little crystal accents, the handle of the top and the lever that you turn it on and off. - The turn on of lever is so perfect. I have no problem with fine motor skills but if someone has some limitations this is so easy, no turning no fine switches, just push with a finger or side of the hand. - No plugging or unplugging constnatly, you just keep the base plugged in and take it off and on as needed. You keep it parked on the base when you boil it or when it is waiting to be used or after use. - The base is solid and nice. - The light.. ah the light. I really love that little blue light that shines through the glass like lever that looks like a piece of ice.. so beautiful. It is on when the pot is boiling water and off once finished. MY most favorite function of course is the fact that it AUTOMATICALLY SHUTS OFF. Total pece of mind. I just pour water, turn it off and can walk away and forget it knowing it will not keep boiling till the end of times, it will boil the water and promptly turn itself off once done. It is Rocket fast!!! I did not time it but It is has to be around minute or two or so or three tops.. as I barely can manage to connect it, walk away to do something and come back a nd it is done. Love it! I just came back to get a second one for different area in the house so I have my second tea station near the work space. Along with few bottles of water, I don't need a sink to make my tea whenever I fancy.

Beautiful safety
I absolutely love this tea kettle! I am a bling girl and this pot speaks to that. My old faithful electric tea kettle had the heating element inside the water reservoir and caused the water to have a metallic taste no matter what I did. So it was time to upgrade. After looking at countless styles I came across this one and knew I found what I was looking for. This kettle is not only beautiful but it offers so much more than aesthetics. The long curved handle and cool touch is a safety feature necessity for me. I suffer from nerve damage and drop things often. I feel much safer and can securely control this kettle with ease. There isn’t a bunch of steam exiting directly onto your hands like some other kettles. It’s well made, lightweight, and very easy to move around. It takes only a couple of minutes to reach a rolling boil. You will not be disappointed in this kettle. I have been using it for a few weeks now and I still love looking at just as much as when I first opened the box. I did purchase a used like new unit and it didn’t disappoint at all. It was packaged in the original box, included the manual, and was sealed like new with no signs of use or damage anywhere! So if you want to save money that is an option that I recommend.

Elite Gourmet Kettle, Very nice 🤩🥳
I like the Mid Century Modern style, kinda glam for a kettle! It’s unique compared to the other plastic electric kettles I’ve seen. Its exterior is hard plastic, with interior stainless steel. The stainless is a requirement for me as I don’t like plastic and am sensitive to it. So it’s healthy for me. It’s heavier than I thought it would be, but I’m okay with filling it to minimum for use. It’s quiet, until the water is about to boil: exactly like any kettle or pan heating water on the stove. I use a small French press, and heat the glass carafe using the kettle just before boiling. The steam is a perfect heat so as not to crack my carafe when it’s cold. Of course, using steam makes condensation on the glass and steam water drips from the French carafe. So to be safe, I’m right there with it with a cup towel. I’ve never liked or used the black plastic ones and thought I’d never have an electric kettle, but as I’m having work done on my house, it became a necessity, and I really do enjoy my coffee set up! It’s kinda like an AB&B but with everything exactly as I like, but with a bit of clutter. Definitely recommend. 💯

NO PLASTIC TOUCHING WATER!!!
I have been searching for years for an electric teakettle with no plastic inside, and finally I have found one! When I first got it, it had a plasticky, chemical smell. It had some sort of coating. After about 10 attempts at merely boiling water, then dumping it out didn’t remove the smell, I researched how to get rid of it. It turns out the best method is to cut up some lemons and/or limes and boil them in clean water in the teakettle, then let that sit (I let it sit over night), dump it out, then boil fresh water again. Finally, that worked. The smell was still barely perceptible to me, but I am a super smeller. No one in my family noticed it, and I couldn’t smell it once it was in the cup, not in the kettle anymore. After about a day of two of use, I could no longer smell it at all. I have had the kettle for about 2 months, and it still works well. It holds enough water for 4 mugs of tea, coffee, etc. The exterior of the kettle stays cool, such that my kids can use it without me having to worry. The way the auto-shutoff works is by a magnet that stops being magnetized when the boiling temperature has been reached. Apparently, that is how most analog kettles work. My autodidactic homeschooled son explained that to me. While I find that pretty cool, the real appeal is the lack of computers that will stop working before the actual mechanics of the appliance do. Reliably analog! I did drop it last week, when I was trying to take the lid off while I was holding the kettle. It still works, but the seam is slightly wonky now. It is not really noticeable. Top marks for taking a lickin’ and keeping on tickin’! The only cons are the initial smell, the fact that you can’t set the temperature or even know it, and the appearance is slightly tacky. I say slightly, because the handle is silver colored plastic, and that plastic jewel on the top is a little princessy for me. I hate the logo in silver. That is so tacky. However, I can abide by the pan-European-as-interpreted-by-the-Chinese aesthetic in exchange for WATER NEVER TOUCHING PLASTIC!!! You did it, guys!!! Wooo hooooo!!!! This company makes a more English-looking kettle with a thermometer, but apparently there is a little bit of plastic in that one, where the thermometer penetrates the kettle. Now, all my actual meat thermometers are metal probes, so I can’t quite figure that one out. The cream color is fine — pretty enough. Overall, it is attractive enough — except for that stupid dorky logo , but it isn’t a deal breaker. In conclusion, I recommend this tea kettle, but be prepared to do a little work to get the plasticky smell out, at first.

My favorite kettke.....
Had a similar kettle to this one for the last 6 years that I loved. Bought from Amazon. I used it every day. It acccidentally fell to the floor and sadly broke at the on/off switch. Couldn't find the original any longer, but other than the color and brand, it's the same. Hallelujah! Even better Amazon delivered it within 24 hours and I didn't have to miss my morning tea. Love the look and style of this electric kettle. No plastic parts come in contact with boiling or pouring the water. It heats up quickly. Easy pour spout and cool to the touch handle.

Fantastic tea kettle after a couple of steps.
I love the way this tea kettle looks and the fact it’s all metal in the interior. When it first arrived we rinsed it and started using immediately, but noticed a terrible plastic taste. I was about to return it. After some research, we ended up boiling several kettles of water and dumping. Then we used half vinegar and half water…. Then rinsed. This completely eliminated the weird taste that was initially in the water. The kettle heats water quickly and has been a joy to use (after the initial issue). Water tastes as it should and we’re very pleased overall with this unit.

Great buy
This is a wonderful, elegant and easy-to-use kettle. The main selling point of this product is the lack of plastic and there is absolutely no direct contact with plastic, so you can drink confidently. The only issue I had initially was the weird taste in water. It took me a while to get rid of it. At first I just kept boiling water and emptying the kettle, but the taste still persisted. Then I tried to use lemons and it was a little better, but not great. One method I found online that worked was soaking the kettle with baking soda. What I did was fill the kettle up to the "max"line. Then, I boiled the water. Once it's done, I threw about two tablespoons of baking soda into the kettle. The baking soda will fizz when it touches the hot water (and I read if it's fresh baking soda it does this). Next, I filled the kettle up with a bit more water (don't over flow, I used around two cups of water) and left the baking soda in the kettle for at least eight hours. Once the time has passed, I emptied the kettle and filled it up with water again and threw it out to get rid of any baking soda residue. Afterwards, I filled the kettle with water once again and I got clean tasting water!!!

LOVE there is no plastic so boiled water is safe. Absolutely adorable!
I love that their is no plastic to contaminate boiled water. I absolutely love how good this kettle looks on my kitchen counter. I do not love that I have to fill it constantly because it is smaller than the 1.7 I am used too. I also do not like that their is no temperature gauge to control different needs and you have to wait and listen to hear if the water is boiling. Taking the lid completely off every time you fill leaves drops of water drips that I am constantly drying on the kettle and counter due to top does not lift and stay in place like other electric kettles. The price is probably due more for the look. But for someone who only uses it for a cup or two a day....you will love it. My family uses this kettle a minimum of 10x's a day.

Update! Diamond handle loose with no way to tighten
Update: still love the kettle but after a year and a bit the diamond accent handle has come loose with no way to tighten it from what I can see. Once it’s off I’ll likely need to replace it. I love this kettle! Only been using it for a couple of weeks but so far it’s fantastic! It is quieter than my last kettle and heats quickly. It has NO plastic that touches the water which is one of the reasons I spent a little more than planned. The outside does get warm, but not hot. I have received many compliments already. Only downfall is the smaller cavity… I drink a few cups of tea a day so I have to fill it more than my last one. Overall, it is safe, functional, and pretty!

Just meh
The photos show that this kettle is white, however, it is definitely ivory as described in the written description ‘white-ivory’. I was hoping that it would be white to match the other appliances in my kitchen as the photos showed, instead with the diamond handle and off white/beige look it sticks out pretty badly, which is unfortunate as it is a staple in our kitchen. We’ve now had it for a few months and use it at least two times daily with no issues. It’s small- with more than two people, we have to boil it twice for tea. Boiling time is 8-10 minutes when it is filled to the max fill line, which fills two standard sized mugs. I purchased this as we wanted a plastic free interior to replace our aging kettle, and at the time we were using boiled water to add to our baby’s cereal. The lid gets very hot too the touch when boiled, sides are fine. Overall works, just not as illustrated, which I would have liked for the $90 price point with tax.

Good quality and very stylish
This is a great looking kettle that is good quality for the price and so far seems to work well. My only negative comment would be that the on/off switch seems a little flimsy as it’s plastic but I wouldn’t let that deter you from buying. Some reviews said the lid was hard to remove but I have no issue with that at all. One thing to note is it only holds 5 cups as opposed to 7 cups but I’m ok with that too. I love that it is double lined so doesn’t feel hot on the outside and that it’s BPA free and there’s no plastic except the on/off switch. I’m hoping I can find a matching toaster too!!
