I have been thrilled with my purchase of this bed frame. I wanted a frame I could fully tuck another twin size mattress under (and not a tiny mattress, a full depth 12 inch memory foam mattress). This works perfectly for my needs.The good:- It’s a beautiful bed frame, exactly as pictured.- It doesn’t flex much when you move around if you’re just laying in bed for a while.- Oh boy do I LOVE the rails. They’re sturdy to lean on when getting out of the bed, and they’re handy for stopping charging cables from falling into the abyss behind the bed.- instructions were well written and clear.The bad:- It’s a lot of pieces. Not difficult to assemble, but it’s not an ikea shelf you’ll finish in 5 minutes by yourself.- I get stressed when someone sits down very hard. I don’t think the slats could take a hard hit without snapping.The ugly;- It’s wood. Yes it will creak. Yes it will look imperfectly stained in some areas. Yes it will be softer than manufactured panels.- I do wish the wood was thicker for the backboard. It is lovely to rest against but my husband and I both can’t rest on the back board without a lot of squeaky complaints from the frame.Overall I’ve been very happy with this bed. It does support a lot of weight when you’re sitting on it, my husband, me, and our 70 pound dog all fit comfortably and the bed does not seem like it’s going to break.That said, my husband is about 200 pounds. If he violently tosses and turns in his sleep, the bed bends. It’s not made to withstand impact, but I think it could hold 300+ pounds of constant pressure just fine.

I love this bed frame! After a few years, I wanted to update my room, and this piece has been a perfect fit. Assembly was very easy—my roommate and I put it together in about 20–30 minutes. The only tricky part was the baseboards, which go much faster with a power tool. The frame is sturdy yet lightweight enough to move around, and it’s been great ever since. No squeaks or creaks, and it looks very elegant!

This is a very pretty day bed, however, be aware that it can only hold about 260 lbs, and that weight limit includes the mattress. When a grown, adult male gets on it, the frame almost looks like it's going to break, NOT because the quality is poor, it's not, however, it just cannot really take a full-grown adult male. Perhaps a female, who is small and lightweight. Other than that, for children, it is a great buy for the price. I wouldn't ever buy this for men. I do think they have a heavy gauge version in iron.It shipped promptly, arrived in excellent condition and it wasn't difficult to put together. I recommend it for the right person.

Before ordering this daybed I not only looked at everything that was available in my price range but read all of the comments on the Giantex Wooden Daybed Frame Twin Size. The bed was delivered in one box and each piece was held in place and protected from rubbing against another piece. After opening the box I carried each piece into the room and laid it on the floor as instructed in the instructions.The instructions are so clear it was easy to put the bed together even though it took several hours. I used to be a technical writer so I can say with authority that the instructions are very well written and easy to use. They are visual and are not wordy.A few suggestions. Be sure to count the pieces of the bed and all the hardware to make sure you received everything. Take the slats out from under the bed and put them aside so you won't have to keep stepping over them. The bolt design was new to me and it took a few minutes to understand that the bolt can be switched around to meet the screws, which come in from different angles. Don't tighten all of the screws until you have the bed completed. You may have to change something and it is easier to remove the screws if needed.Enjoy this lovely daybed as much as I will.

Was very easy to assemble, has held up really nice for the past few months, seems like a very sturdy bed, purchase for my five year old daughter!

Easy to assemble! Took me like 30 minutes. Way larger than I anticipated. That’s my fault, make sure you measure the area. Longer than an actual twin mattress, But I can fix that with more pillows. Not sturdy at all. I will have to inform everyone who sits on this to not plop down. Overall kind of a cheap piece of furniture.****EDIT****4 years later and it has held well. It’s withstood a move and many guests. Not a single thing broken. I do always feel it will break though. Like I said before not that sturdy, but after 4 years I’d have to say I’m pleased for how little I spent on it.

I bought this daybed a few years ago and have been happy with my purchase. It has held up very well and I have no complaints.

Didn't take too long to put together, overall very good quality and is sturdy. Doesnt make any noise at all and my dog loves it, it's his bed now!

The wood isn’t thick, and can be breakable if played with or tousled with enough. Therefor I wouldn’t recommend it for kids. But adults and teens? Absolutely. It’s a bit smaller than expected but can still fit me and my German shepherd comfortably for sleeping. Easy to assemble but the instructions were a bit out of order. It was easy to figure out tho even with the slight mix up of letters on the wood.

Very sturdy and spacious. Everyone who came to our home and saw the bed loved it. You will need a drill to assemble it though. Some screw holes are missing that needs to be drilled

Excellent day bed, I am 200lb male and DON'T BE MISLEAD, THIS BED IS STURDY, VERY WELL CONSTRUCTED and esthetically very pleasing 👌 HIGHLY RECOMMEND...
