Can't ask for a better replacement for steel cable winch rope. Strong and you don't have to worry about metal slivers and cuts if you have to handle it while retracting it.The length is great for longer recovery distances. A great price as well.

First, an item within your control: the red heat wrap is only long enough to cover half of the first layer of wrap around the drum. Meaning that half of the first layer of wrap is rope directly on drum. Make the heat wrap longer please. And then send me a new one after you make that update. Hence the 3 star review on heat resistance. Second, and item not entirely within your control. I was replacing a steel cable which had a short "set screw" holding the cable in the slot. Synthetic cables mount differently, which required a different style of screw, so I had to get that from the hardware store. But then the hole in the mounting end of the rope wasn't big enough to accept the screw so I had to drill it out a little. I had to go to 21/64" in order to clear the M10 attaching screw. Make the hole a little bigger, please. I realize you can't know what size screw each whinch will need, but making the hole a little bigger is a really easy manufacturing change. Otherwise it’s appears to be a fantastic winch rope, would recommend.

I put this on a Badlands 12k winch. Worked great and looks great. Have used it to recover some cars and have had zero issues

The very first time I used it a couple weeks ago pulling a piece of equipment with wheels a utv that was appx 2000 pounds it snapped . The company reached out to me immediately after they read this review and are sending me a new one. So that is incredible customer service standing by their product

This is so much easier to roll up than the cable and longer too. Install was a lil tricky to start. The winch spool was designed for cable so the rope doesn’t slide into the hole like normal. So I pulled the set screw out and found a bolt that fits in the set screw hole and drilled out the hole in the end of the rope to fit the bolt and attached it that way. It rolled up nice and easy and fits well and looks good too. Has a red cover on the last 5 feet of rope so you know your almost at the end and a nice black cover on the first 4-5 ft. Even comes with a nice black hook. Haven’t had a chance to really use it yet so I can’t attest to the strength of the rope yet but I’m sure it will work just fine. Much cheaper and stronger than other ones I’ve seen too. I would buy again if I had too.

This is the strongest synthetic line I've used,In the 3/8 size. I have used this brand line for 7-8 months 5 days a week cutting trees. I use it to pull trees to cut also retrieving logs and loading the logs. This thing has taken alot of abuse I've had it rub on my trailer while loading logs and not just a lilbit of a rub I'm talking dragging a 20ft log and it's on the edge of 2x2 angle iron and pulled it 80 ft. Didn't hurt it a bit. Now it has its normal wear of peach fuzz fiber sticking up and it's dirty. But I've never washed it and i was told that dirt and mud would cause it to break. But it hasnt yet. I do believe that its true but if it breaks ill buy another one. I have put more pressure on this line than a 3/8 cable. And have broke two 3/8 log chains with it. I'll definitely buy more. I have started using it for rigging trees Instead of straps and chains. They make good slings also. Plus I love the green.

Used once so far to pull a Subaru station wagon that was stuck on the side of a hill after having rolled down a hill backward. Worked just fine and glad I had it.

It's synthetic winch line, not much more to say. Used it a few times and can't tell the difference between this and more expensive winch line. IMO it's just as good and less money.

ok the rope is awesome but, .... yoyy really should include a neww mounting screw to attach, the one i have like im sure others is not in best of shape and a 5 cent screw would make this item over the top , thinking of the little things to complete a awesome item

I was so impressed with the rope when it arrived, it spooled around the drum great, it seemed to work great. I even ordered two more to use on our rollback tow trucks. Then it snapped, I was winching a car out of the soft snow and it snapped. It is rated for way more than my winch can handle and should have easily handled this task. I will not be installing them on my rollbacks as I feel it is too risky. Great for off road rigs, maybe not so much for a tow truck.
