RothcoGI Type Inspection Ready Beret, Pre Saved Wool/Nylon Army Uniform Beret

Very cool beret. If you want to pin an emblem to it, it comes with a cardboard panel to protect your head. It will stretch in time, and they come slightly bigger than expected. The reviewer normally wears a 7.5 hat. However I had to purchase the size 7 in order to get it to fit.

It likely needs re-shaved first off. I am not in the military but it is a comfortable hat that looks good with my one coat. I read online how to properly wear a beret and the way it was folder from the factory it pulls to the left ear (military according to my sources is pulling to the right ear). The way it was folded had the stay on the right side of the crease (yes it has creases from where it was folded for delivery and I need to steam it out). It looks nice but I would not say it is "inspection ready" unless the military is OK with a little fuzzy hat with creases that is pulled down on the wrong ear. For every other Joe (not G.I. Joe), nobody will likely notice.

Recently I had a melanoma removed from the side of my head. I did not want others to see the incision and resultant skin grafts. This beret worked great in covering the wound as well as not putting pressure on it. It was great, and everyone who saw me with it commented on how well it looked.

It is black. Beyond that it is disappointing. No body, maybe I can stretch it so it will hold its shape. If the cardboard for attaching emblems was not present this would lay limp on top of the head. No ties to adjust the fit.

Overall, I like it. I enjoy wearing my beret. It doesn't flop over as much as shown in the product pic but I find it to be very stylish. I may order a size up next time.

品物・品質面では不満は有りません。生地が薄めでしたので、酷寒地での使用には不向きかな？と思います。ただ、そもそもが三つ折りでビニール袋に入ってたので、折り皺がくっきり付いてるのがよろしく無いですねぇ。これは製造側の問題点ですね。

Product was ok however the seller clearly sent the wrong size. Way to small.
