Some Few Glow in The Dark LED Dog Leash - 42" Length, 1" Width

This lights up nicely, however, the clasp is a very poor quality. I would not trust it to hold my very rambunctious young adult dog even though she's only 16lbs. I knew it wasn't going to be long enough for her exploratory nature either but I figured I could use it in conjunction with another leash. Because of the clasp though I decided to wrap it around her chest, twice, and have it clipped to her harness. This worked great actually because now she is lit up and not the area above her. I do like how bright the lights are and it has steady or blinking options as well. I am not sure how well these improvisations would work on different size dogs.

Cheaper quality than expected. Lights stopped working very shortly after receiving, which was a bummer because that is what I bought it for. Could have been the battery, but wasn't even worth me buying a new battery for it. Threw away shortly after that as my dog could have ripped it anytime if he decided to pull while walking. Probably OK for small dogs.

I ordered this and a blue one for my girlfriend last winter. While the leashes themselves are nice enough, the red one was dead on arrival and simply wouldn't work no matter what we did. The blue one worked fine. I can understand cheap things dying after a few weeks/months of use--you get what you pay for, after all--but being dead on arrival? Come on, that's just crappy.Instead of buying this, I highly recommend buying the Good2Go Light-Up dog leash. They're $25/each at Petco (probably cheaper on Amazon), but we bought two of them (one red initially to replace this, and another one to replace the blue one of these once we realized how awesome the Good2Go ones are) and we have been using them nearly nightly for the past 6ish months without any problems.

It must be a different brand of leash because the thickness of the leash isnt the same as the one I ordered before. I was hoping that the glow in the dark part of the leash was brighter and longer. I wont be getting this brand again.

Well our little 4 legged furry things are family too...So this one is for my little dog, for her stacking but i have tried it out and it's just what we need...especially when the kids take her for walk at night, this let's other dog walkers know that another dog is approaching and they need to take precautions...as well as passing cars etc....

Leash it fun to use on a walk. Not long enough.

We live on a dark road where people drive too fast. We've tried the lighty-leash and it failed almost immediately. We had such high hopes for this one, and it lasted less than a week. (the collars have given us better luck but also have failed within months.) My husband, an electrical engineer, has tried to dissect and fix them, but says they are so poorly made and just sort of stuck together that there is no way to trouble shoot and improve the mechanism-once it breaks the tiny wire keeping it lit, it's landfill. I will probably try new ones and be hopeful that the design will be improved.

Very flexible, nice handle, strong clip, BRIGHT lights the whole length of the leash. Perfect! Shorter than most leashes, but that is good since at night you don't want your dog wandering. Paired it with the matching collar, and we are really visible these dark winter afternoons and evenings when out walking on our street that has no sidewalks or street lamps.
