Works perfectly for my needs as a recycling bin. I use it to toss cartons/bottles/boxes into before I take it to the recycling bin across the parking lot. The walls aren't particularly stiff/strong but they are supportive. It's folding ability is pretty cool. You can easily use it for light/medium items.

Works perfectly for my use, storing paint cans, etc. in my storage closet. Liked it so much, I bought two more. Only recommendation would be for manufacturer to use a stronger plastic, as it feels a little flimsy -- but perfect for my current use. Would highly recommend.

so cheaply made. I bought these to replace a set of older ones. I use these at Costco to bring in groceries, or at Christmas to pack presents in for travel. They are are so convenient, because the collapse to nothing. These, however, are extremly flimsy and the bottom disconnects with any sort of weight in them, causing whatever the contents to fall to the sidewalk. Totally insufficient. Wish I could return them.

These work very well. Easy to collapse but they don't fold in on themselves when they are in use. Handy and convenient. I bought these to use in the back of my SUV to keep groceries and such from rolling around the back. Works like a charm! Easy to carry as well and once done I just fold them flat and set them back in the back of the SUV. Works great!

Folds up well which is Good but base quite flimsy. Only suitable to hold very light weight things.

I purchased the the Clever Crate after reading a recommendation on a boating blog. The writer highlighted the foldability, lightweight, and size as desirable features for making use of normally oddly configured boat lockers. For the most part, the writer was correct. The dimensions of the crate, which are smaller than your average plastic crate, means it fits well in almost all of my sailboat lockers. The foldability is also a plus. When you don't need it for storage, you can fold it flat and tuck it away. Unfortunately, the lightweight construction, when combined with the foldability feature, produces a crate that is very flimsy when loaded. The locking tabs that hold the crate in place when opened just aren't robust enough and the crate collapses under just about any movement. I will probably keep rather than return, which is probably worth another half star, but I don't imagine this will be an item of kit that survives the long haul on a boat.

I grew up with crates of similar design in Germany and have to say these ARE flimsy for the price. :(I will have to hide these from my toddler-- pretty sure they won't last if she gets near them.The design is great, the quality of materials very cheap.

This is very handy, and I have used it many times. It collapses nicely and sits behind a door until it's needed. It could be sturdier, and that would make it heavier, so it's just fine for laundry, kids toys, lighter groceries. I don't mean to say it's flimsy, it's well designed and strong enough, just don't carry bricks in it! I actually have 3 different sizes, and I had to get this one to replace one that was broken when someone fell on it.

Works as advertised

Just opening one of my crates for the first time a small but critical piece of plastic in one corner broke off. Now it just collapses with little pressure. When they are opened and snapped into place they appear to hold weight but I don't entirely trust them not to collapse. I would never use them for anything but unbreakable items and not very many of them at that. I've had this this type of plastic folding crate before and they were awesome. These are very flimsy. I guess you get what you pay for.

A little flimsy for the price. But they are a good size and cut down on bulk, the light weight makes them easier to tote around full.

Arrived broken and dirty. Plastic is thinner than I was expecting.
