I had already had a shark cordless vacuum and was not impressed, returned it as I didn't feel it was worth the money I paid, so was a little worried that all cordless vacuums were the same, when I saw it put together (which by the way is easy, even I could do it) it didn't look very spectacular and was very light I was left wondering if it would do the job. I started to use it and to my surprise it was fantastic the suction on normal was powerful and I use it on full power for our carpets as we have dogs and it picks up all the dog hairs, iv had no problems with anything getting wrapped around the roller This is a fantastic vacuum and I would definitely recommend people to buy it. It is very light weight so easy to move about the house and take up stairs the suction is fantastic and really brings the pile up on your carpets they come up like new, lovely vacuum , id buy again and iv given 5 * to each section, the only one iv given 4* to is battery life its not too long , and I have sometimes not finished vacuuming before its on red light which can be annoying especially if you use on full power

The 3 suction settings are terrific especially if you have pet hairs and dust and mud being brought in by them or people, or blown in from open doors and windows. It really is amazing. The main cleaning brush head swivels beautifully to sweep edges in front of, for example, kitchen units, dressers and cupboards. The brush in the cleaning head is easy to remove but because it has a screw thing you undo instead of screws as in earlier models. You do need very strong nails, a broad screwdriver or small coin to remove it. The battery lasts well. What disappointed me was the weight, the size of the collection box and the lack of full instructions for assembly and accessing the filter for cleaning. All very well having to download copious pages from the internet but a proper instruction book as well as the short quick set up leaflet would be an asset. Customer Services have said they will post one to me but it has not come yet. The size of the collection box has to be limited to fit the cleaner but it needs frequent emptying if pet hairs are a problem, especially during moults. It is much heavier than I expected because of the weight of the handle/control unit and battery. I am right-handed and have arthritis in my right shoulder and spine, which it aggravated, but I find if I support it with my left hand on the stick it alleviates the backache and helps the shoulder. I certainly wouldn't be able to lift it to clean curtains or high corners of a room. Overall, despite these drawbacks, it is an excellent tool and I am glad bought it. I just do one room at a time with a breather in between. There's always a way round. So despite my criticisms I highly recommend it especially for people without joint problems.

In terms of its key function, the unit is good. Very good suction, good battery life in the default mode, good quality. It's not heavy but such is the suction on a carpet it can ' stick' and be difficult to push and pull. All positive so far, but........the battery charges by removing it from the unit and plugging it into a charger. It would be so much easier if Vax had fitted a port on the battery or the vacuum cleaner to charge the battery. The removable capsule to empty the contents is easy to use, however the rubberised vacuum connections will be the first things to wear out....after a month of ownership I can hear a vacuum leak already. Not good. I would recommend the cleaner, it is quite good value, it cleans well and it's convenient.

Really impressed with this Vax, very powerful but quiet and on carpets it drags you along as it is keen to vacuum everything in sight and with very bright LED's it doesn't want to miss a thing. It seems to pick up a lot more than my old stick vaccuum but it could be because it is newer with a newer brush but you can feel the suction seems much better. A couple of things to note. It does seem to take a long time to charge the battery but it does last a long time so they equal each other out. The other thing is that it being so good vaccuming it could have done with a bigger waste bin. That said it is so easy to empty it and more importantly to reinsert it, unlike my last one where you had to fight it ino the ground to get the thing on. Overall very impressed so impressed in fact that I have ordered another one to keep downstairs.

We've been using a Hetty hoover for a year now. It is a fantastic machine however is difficult to store and get out of the cupboard and do the stairs with. So we bought this Vax cordless vacuum. It is so easy to use and put away. Comes with a storage bracket to stand it up on the wall. Very powerful and has a boost button. It was the option to turn the brushes on or off which is useful for light carpets. It comes with other attachments and you can order various other ones too. Light weight easy to use. Great if you have alot of hair. You can easily remove the brush and has a groove to get a pair of scissors down to easily remove the hair. Brilliant bit of equipment.

I bought this, having scene a review on a different vacuum which recommended it. I am delighted. Its really easy to set up. Didnt even really need the instructions. Some of the parts are a tight fit, but with a little wiggle its not problem. Its light, not so light as you might accidentally yeet it through a window, but light enough that it won't trouble you to use it daily. The accessories are as you would expect. No surprises. Suction is great, standard power and motorised brush head each offer something. I normally have it on basic suction with motorised brush head and it picks up tons. Battery. I have a 2 bedroom flat. I have successfully hoovered all of it, with settings described above, 4 times without having to charge. New batteries are £80 so in theory this product should easily last you years at a fraction of the cost of higher end models, and really I don't see them out performing it. You won't regret buying it.

The vacuum cleaner is fine. However the VAX OnePwr battery system is unreliable. I’ve had two batteries die unexpectedly. Fine one day.. then dead the next. I feel it’s a firmware issue rather than an issue with the Li-Ion battery cells themselves. I shall be switching from Vax to Ninja for my next portable vacuum cleaner.
