He loves it and it was the exact one he wanted, so no complaints here.

Purchased this knife to be my primary field knife when hunting. I was looking for an affordable fixed blade that used D2 tool steel. This fit the bill. I am very pleased with the grip and balance that this knife provides and with the blaze orange grip, it should not be difficult to find if/when it gets set down when field dressing. I will update after my hunting trip.

Very sharp, great design, right size, feels great in the hand, surprisingly light. I like the leather sheath. A week after buying this knife I field dressed a deer in the snow around dusk and having the orange handle really was convenient. Everything went quickly. This was my first attempt using a gut-hook and it was a little awkward for me, but I'm sure that comes with practice. Cleaned up with ease. I plan to use this for life.
