Does it stay well with the windows down while driving?

Yes. It has 5 strong magnets on the top of the shade. It does not fall even if the windows down all the way. However, I recommand you to tie the shade on the side of the window as shown video when you drive highway. It may fall because of air resistance.

Will it fit a 2018 suburban?

u can check the measurements (27" X 18.5") to check if it will cover up the whole window of your suburban. Otherwise if you are wondering if it will attach to the door of the suburban? then, depends if the metal is visible. Does it fit a 2012 Buick Verano back window?

Measure the window and check the dimensions to see if it fits ..remember the magnets are only on one side .. you may need to for a rear glass window but you can see thru it ..as far as doors one is enough
