It tasted good

A really special oil for a very reasonable price. Great for salads but also as a seriously potent health aid since the tangy feistiness at the back of the throat announces the presence of chemical oleocanthal, a phenolic compound that is fast becoming recognised as the natural "Ibuprofen" for pain and inflammatory conditions. I have been testing ( back of throat "smack" - take a teaspoon full and knock it back) several very high quality olive oils and found this to be the highest in content of this very useful natural medicine.

Factually, we know this ticks a lot of boxes: cold-pressed, organic, extra virgin. It's a beautiful, savoury oil that doesn't overpower dishes but does definitely add flavour. I've used this as a salad dressing, to drizzle over tomatoes on toast (with a little sea salt - yum!), but have also used it for cooking and found it to be excellent.

This is worth the extra cost as the quality is excellent. So good I have put it on subscription

I really like this oil - it tastes very fresh and delicate, yet unmistakably good quality oil. Not overpowering, suitable for eating raw or cooking. Recommended, I'll be buying it again.
