Economical lightweight folding screens
Review for Oriental Furniture 6 ft. Tall Window Pane Shoji Screen - White - 4 PanelsWe are on the 4th floor facing west with no tree shade. The curtains on the sliding glass doors to the veranda do not block the sun or glare. I needed something that is easily moved and put in place when needed. I looked at solid screens- too heavy and too hard to maneuver behind chairs to put in place. The shoji screens do not block all of the glare and western sun but do an adequate job. The plus is that I, a very small person, can move these lightweight screens. They seem sturdy enough to stand up the job that I bought them for. The white blends in with the curtains and are an attractive addition. We are pleased with this purchase.

This shoji screen is first-class, and a bargain for its size
Something in shipping busted two panels of this shoji screen, and I'm still giving it FIVE STARS. It's that good a product. And the price is right. The design is better than anything else out there. The hinges work both ways. It adds a lightness and good mojo to your room.

Awesome screen!! Buy it
What a great quality screen! Arrived pre-assembled within 3 days. Doubled jointed so can bend back or forward. This does not lean or feel like it will topple. It’s sturdy. Worth every penny.

The privacy panels came well-packed. Use right out of the box without tools needed. It looks nice with the Asian's essence while adding some privacy portably where needed.

Exactly what I was looking for!
This lightweight but sturdy folding screen works perfectly in front of the opening between my kitchen & living room. It’s great for hiding a messy kitchen while still letting light shine through. Attractive-looking design and very easy to move. Nice quality at reasonable price.

Easy, professional privacy for zoom calls
This has made zoom setup so quick and easy for me. It allows light through but does not show shadows of items behind it.The screen is reversible. I set up mine with the back of it facing forward because I prefer the wooden grid design to be slightly more subtle. It is easy to fold/unfold and carry. I keep it folded and propped against a wall when not needed. It did need to air out after I received it because I didn’t like the chemical odor. It was fine pretty quickly. My one complaint is that the gap at the hinges is fairly wide. Objects behind it aren’t visible in the sense of being recognizable, but it is possible to see that *something* is behind it. Not a big deal, and I really doubt anyone I’ve zoomed with has noticed! I’d just prefer a smaller gap.Recommend this for anyone who is tired of rearranging their background before video meetings!

Wish I'd picked another color but otherwise love it
This has been a godsend for setting off my writing nook from the living room with a little privacy. Looks quite elegant, actually, although the rosewood color I chose didn't fit in with my other furniture as well as I thought. (I blame my wife: I asked her opinion and she said, "Just pick what you want, we're going to put it away when we have guests anyway," so my bad decision is hers, too.) There's nothing wrong with the color, just clashes a bit with my walnut table. It's quite sturdy when stretched out and the three-panel (can't remember if there's a four-panel option for this brand or not, but I know I struggled for a bit deciding between the three- and four-) covers my space nicely without feeling like it's going to fall over. I can also easily extend it while I'm using it and then close it up a bit repeatedly and it hasn't shown any indication of weakening at the hinges.Recommended!

A home run!
Needed it for a guest sleeping in my living room. This unit is very well-made and sturdy. Looks so much more upscale than I imagined it would and it's so easy to maneuver.

3-panel shoji screen is an attractive room divider
This 6 ft. Tall Window Pane Shoji Screen is beautiful and functional. It is well constructed, with smooth rounded and painted edges. It breaks up a large room into smaller more functional areas. Classic clean lines fit any decor.

Exactly as expected
If you have ever had a window pane shoji screen, this is exactly what you expect. (If you have not had one, maybe make sure you know what rice paper is - it's not appropriate for young kids or being kicked, or scratched/bitten by animals. It also could easily be knocked down.)But it's perfect for letting a little light in, and not darkening up a room you put it in. It's lightweight and easy to move around, which is what I needed. I use it for video calls from home where I don't want people to see my living space, so I move it behind me just for the calls, so I need it to be quick and lightweight. It was very well packaged (double boxed, wrapped, hinges extra wrapped. No scuffs or marks. And the hinges are double swinging so you can bend the sections forward or back as needed. It's not an expensive wood, it's not meant to be, it's just a lightweight wood. It's perfect for me.Also it was delivered a week faster than promised.

Perfect!
My fiancé and I got this to hide some shelves as our apartment does not have a storage closet. It’s very tall and is exactly what I was looking for. I love that you have the option to choose how many panels you want—most other places offer 4 or 6 panels, but 5 panels were perfect for us.If you’ve never owned one of these before, know that rice paper is meant to be somewhat thin (I feel guilty because I used to poke holes in my grandma’s shoji screens as a kid)—this is just a response to the number of people who complain that it feels like tissue paper. This rice paper feels pretty standard in my opinion, so you’ll want to take that into consideration if you have kids or pets. That being said, it’s beautifully crafted and very easy to lift up and move around. It arrived fully assembled as well and several days earlier than expected. I’m incredibly happy with it!

Good Quality for the Price
Bought this when we moved our bedroom into the den to try to give the large room a more comfortable, private feel. This works perfectly, one little square has torn but that's due to it being moved around constantly. I put a shoe rack behind it so when we're not home the dogs can't muscle their way into the room or break the screens. I was skeptical due to the price but I am really happy with the results. The hinges are good quality and the panels themselves are pretty good as well, not top of the line but for the price you really couldn't do better. It works well for privacy, light comes through but you can't see through them. If they were just a little bit heavier they'd be perfect but again, value for the money and we expect this set up to be temporary. Very satisfied and if we end up needing another upstairs I will definitely come back for these.
