DaVinci Kalani 4-in-1 Convertible Crib in White, Greenguard Gold Certified

We absolutely love this convertible crib! It’s not only stylish and well-designed but incredibly functional. The setup was simple, and the quality is top-notch – sturdy, with smooth edges and a beautiful finish that matches our nursery perfectly. What truly makes this crib stand out is its versatility. As our baby grows, we can easily convert it from a crib to a toddler bed, and eventually into a full-size bed. This means we won’t need to buy multiple pieces of furniture as our child gets older – a huge money-saver in the long run! We have purchased this for 2 children now and love it!!

We purchased this crib in 2010 for the birth of our second son. We already had the same crib for our oldest son and it had lasted almost 2 years so we were confident in our purchase. Now, 4 1/2 years after we purchased our first DaVinci Kalani crib, our 2 year old is still using his and it has held up beautifully to his playing, jumping and climbing. The one we bought over 4 years ago is now being used by our 1 year old son and is in amazing shape considering it's been used nearly nonstop since 2008. There are dings and scratches due to the soft wood, but at this price range it's expected and easily repaired. And none are distinct enough unless you really pay attention to the details. We didn't have any issues with assembly, although the directions were missing. We found them online at the manufacturers website so it wasn't a concern. In fact, both cribs were assembled by me, while in my 3rd trimester. The only issue we have had is the bolts that hold the mattress support tend to wear after repetitive use. We replaced them after a quick trip to the hardware store (as easy as bringing one in and saying "I need 4 of these") and that was after 2 years of use. I would definitely recommend this crib to new parents. It has a beautiful, classy look, is easy to assemble, and will give you your money's worth. We have 3 wild, busy boys and both of our Kalani's are investments that lasted far longer than we anticipated. Congratulations to all in the market to buy!

We loved the look of the DaVinci Kalani, but what convinced us to buy it was the numerous positive reviews and the size. Our sons nursery is on the small side so we needed something that would be big enough for him once we transitioned to a toddler bed but not so big it didn't fit in the room. The assembly didn't take my husband long at all, and the instructions were very straight forward, everything that he needed was included so he didn't need any extra tools. The wood is very beautiful, and the Espresso finish matches very well with other espresso furniture we own. As a crib I liked the fact that we could move the mattress down as my little one grew so we could keep him safe, but i have to say that by the end I would prefer give my baby to my husband to lay down if he was sleep in my arms because it was hard for me to reach all the way down, I'm 5.3'. We are currently using it as a toddler bed, my son is 2 and a half now, and it has worked great, it is the prefect height for him to get on and off on his own. The only thing that I have had a problem with so far is how easily the wood will scratch and dent. After my son got his upper front teeth and was teething from the bottom ones. He chew on the crib which I didn't notice in time and left marks on it. I would have never tough that first baby teeth could mark it so much but it did. So if you are planning on getting this crib definitely invest in some kind of protection against baby bites. Also it shows some scratches from just regular usage that I haven't seen happen with any other of our furniture. Overall I am pretty satisfied with it. It has served it's purpose well and since I was never expecting it to be an heirloom I am not upset about the scratches. I have included pictures so you can see for yourself.

Very pleased with this crib! We got it for our little one and the height is perfect and looks high quality. People complement our crib when they see it and are shocked when we say we for it off Amazon. Unfortunately our little kiddo did wear down the stain with biting the edges of the crib but that’s kinda inevitable if you have a teething little one. We are planning on getting potentially another crib for our next kiddo since this one converts to a toddler bed and can grow with your child.

Update: Our son is now 3.5 years old and this crib is STILL holding up strong. We have yet to convert him to the toddler bed since he's always slept so well and has ZERO interest in getting out of crib. The crib is very large and VERY well constructed. He has jumped up and down in it and it STILL holds strong. We have it on the lowest level setting and he is above average height and weight. No issues. I'm sure within the next few months or before he turns 4 years old we'll convert to the toddler bed. Does the crib have a few scratches? Sure. I would think any wood product with stain would acquire scratches from every day life and when your child goes through a chewing phase. For us, that is a minor issue. The main thing about this crib is the easiness of putting together and the overall sturdiness. Its a great product for a great price. The baby stores out there are OVER PRICED!!!! The quality is beautiful and overall feels VERY sturdy and solid. We can't wait until our little one is able to enjoy the crib....for years to come!!! Also, no dings or scratches on wood. We purchased this just over a year ago, in Espresso. I was alarmed when it arrived. The package was extremely heavy and there were rips in it. I was afraid to open it but obviously DaVinci anticipated some potential rough treatment as it was packed very efficiently to protect it from that type of shipping damage. There wasn't a scratch on it. It is natural wood and we had been warned that there it may mar or scratch easily. We have a very very active toddler that has slept in it for over a year and there is not a scratch on it. It is an attractive addition to his room and is sturdy and safe for him. We are looking forward to the next transition to the toddler bed with the railing!! We highly recommend this product! It is now over two years later (Dec 2014) and I just have to add this addendum. This crib is great. It survived our dynamo boy who was so active, then it went to a transition converted bed with one full side and one with the railing. It was perfect. It gave him the security he needed but it was a big boy bed so he was ready for a genuine bunk bed when his first little sister needed this one. I had anticipated getting a new one for her but the timing was perfect for us to just graduate this one to her. It then moved across country without a scratch or damage. We did modest but careful packaging for that, and that sister now shares the bunk bed's other bed while their newest addition is in this crib. It's not often anymore that items survive through three children like this and still look great and can perform so well. It's been great !!!

Bought this in summer 2009 for my first baby. It looks very nice in her room and we've received alot of compliments. We chose espresso color and were not disappointed. It was relatively easy to put together and it nice quality and should last for years to come. Two things of note, my bumper doesn't seem to fit as snugly and not sure if it is my crib or bumper. Also, the rails do not come with crib (as many don't) but for some reason rails were hard to find when I tried to order separately. I finally found them on another website and ordered them. I was warned by friends to make sure I got rails as they frequently discontinue crib styles and finding the rails later on would be difficult. For the price I paid I am totally satisfied and would get the crib again. I looked at other websites who wanted a ridiculous amount for shipping. Amazon was free and that was fantastic, saved over $100 on shipping alone. Jan 2012 update - I am still using this crib and it has held up very well. My daughter is 2.5 and puts her crib through alot daily including using it as a trampoline. Quality is superior. Highly recommend.

Esta muy bien la cuna. Me encanto el color y el acabado. No es tan difícil de armar pero si se requiere su tiempo y seguir bien las instrucciones.
