The Ultimate Droodles Compendium: The Absurdly Complete Collection of All the Classic Zany Creations Paperback – March 6, 2019

I grew up reading Roger Price's "Droodles." As far as I know, this book contains every Droodle Roger Price ever drew. I read the whole thing, laughed a lot, and then gave it to a friend who also grew up reading Price's work. He also enjoyed it immensely.For those unfamiliar with the genre, a droodle is a very simple minimalist cartoon with a caption (or several alternate captions). Example: a horizontal line, a triangle growing out of the line, and another shape on the right that looks like a ship's bow. Caption: "Ship arriving to late to save a drowning witch."

When I was young, my dad introduced our family to a small book of Droodles. What fun they were! I bought this book and have had a great time going through this complete volume and introducing my children to the fun and whacky talent of Roger Price.

We’re old enough to remember when Droodles were first introduced. This a fun book regardless of your age. The simple drawings depict a wide variety of funny sketches. You have to see a few to understand the idea

Christmas gift just what I was looking for

I first came across droodles in an article in the Washington Post. Three droodles were shown and then you had to guess what they represented. The answers on the next page were funny suprises. In this book the meaning of every droodle is given immediately under each one. Robbed me of so much fun.

During the early days of pandemic confinement I sent Droodles out to a number of people. They all loved them.

Everything you are looking for is in here. All the Droodles you love, many you've never seen, and TONS of commentary. Excellent fun for everyone, new and old fans alike.

I bought this as a gift for a friend and he is into abstract art and he loved it. But we tried to play the guessing game as to what might be the art and we found it to be very difficult and to abstract for our understanding

Had similar when I was a kid. Funny then, still funny now! Thanks for the memories.

Rememberd from the 60s. Most enjoyable and very funny. Few are really dated.
