Excellent little pot
This is perfect: interesting style but not overly modern, small but not tiny, and yes, has a great little sieve in the pot at base of the spout, so you can put your loose-leaf tea directly in the pot which is *so* much better than in a strainer (lets the leaves fully open and have full water contact). Would make a lovely gift with some tea or other accessories.

Love that green tea!
Great little teapot. Good for one bag of green tea and two people. We use the little Japanese cup and have a pot every day. Nice and relaxing! We had one with a metal strainer but the pot broke. Skip that one. If you want to heat the tea up a little in the winter, the lack of metal strainer is a helpful if you use tea bags.If you drink green tea, get the little hand-less Japanese cups. Put in one bag and after about 5 minutes, remove the bag. The green tea taste best when hot (little cups help) and fairly weak.

Adorable teapot!
It's a lovely teapot, perfectly matches the aqua backsplash in my kitchen. It is well made, no cracks, even glazing, bottom is flat. Safe for oven, dishwasher and microwave, according to the bottom. I know that people tend to use the terms "teal"," turquoise", and "aqua" interchangeably nowadays, but they are actually very different colors. I would definitely call this aqua, not turquoise as in the description, but that is exactly what I wanted. Came well packaged with a warranty of 30 days, but can be extended to one year with registration at sweese.com

Nice teapot and good quality
I got for my husband as he likes to drink and make his own tea. He liked it! And I do too. It very is nice looking and good quality. The size is a little bigger than we used to have before, but still fit our needs. It has a wide open on a top so it is easy to fill tealeaves and easy to clean. The only thing I wish it would have is build-in strainer holes inside to hold tea leaves as we like to brew our own tea and do not use tea bags. I know there are some models with insert, but my husband does not like to use them. Also I looked into other's reviews and new in advance there is no build-in strainer. Still love it!

Love it
This keeps your tea hot and is really functional. Of course we fill it with plain hot water first while making our tea. Then drain and fill with our tea. It stays hot long enough for us. Even if our rare occasion we don't get to all the tea the tea is still great cold. Love love love the more flat design.

Pretty and functional
It's a cheerful addition to my countertop, very nice. The top stays in place when pouring, it's a decent weight for heat retention and a good size (I use it for two big 14-ounce mugs and there is a bit of room left). The first one I ordered had a flaw and the company replaced it without hassle.

Nicely made and has a clean look
No ornamental spout or handle on this teapot...it has a modern simple look that's just right on our kitchen countertop. I do not use this pot for tea but rather for microwave heating water to pour into a single-cup coffee brewing filter. It takes about 3 minutes on High in the microwave to get water just right for making coffee.

Perfect Teapot for Everyday Use
There is not much to say but that it is perfect for making three cups of tea -- every morning and occasionally in the afternoon. The spout hardly drips (as a life-long tea drinker I have yet to find a non-dripping pot), and it works well all around. Should I ever break it I will buy exactly the same one to replace it. And I forgot to mention that the light blue is very attractive.
