This massage chair is the one!
I work long hours and my back is usually wrecked by the end of the day, so I figured I would give this a shot as my name brand one wasn’t cutting it. Honestly this thing has been way better than I expected. Now when I get home I just throw it on my chair, sit down, turn it on, and it feels amazing. It’s become part of my routine at this point. The rollers hit pretty much every spot on my back. It actually feels like a real massage instead of those cheap pads that just vibrate and call it a day. The heat is also really nice. Not too hot, just enough to loosen things up after sitting all day. One thing I didn’t expect to like as much is the air compression on the seat. The way it squeezes your thighs actually feels great and kind of adds to the whole massage instead of just being a gimmick. Same with the vibration in the seat. It just makes the whole thing feel more complete. The crazy part is I actually own a name brand massage chair that cost me about three times as much as this. I’m not even joking when I say this one gives me better relief. That surprised me a lot. It’s easy to set up, you can throw it on pretty much any chair, and it just works. If you sit a lot for work or deal with back tension this thing is absolutely worth it. I use it almost every day now and I’d buy it again without thinking twice.

The Desk Job Antidote
At 6’ and 180 lbs, I find this massage chair works well for my build. As someone who spends long hours at a computer, I deal with frequent back and shoulder stiffness, and this chair has been helpful. The adjustable roller height is a game-changer. I typically lower the neck roller so it sits directly on my shoulders. The seat and back compression feature initially felt odd - almost like being hugged-but I’ve grown to like it. It’s adjustable and can be turned off if needed. The heat function strikes a good balance: it’s warm enough to soothe sore muscles without becoming uncomfortable. I also appreciate that you can change the direction of the shiatsu rollers, which gives you more control over the massage. I’ve found that lacing my hands behind my head and pulling my shoulders back helps the rollers target the tight spots in my upper and lower back more effectively. The built-in runtime isn’t adjustable, so you can’t choose a longer session. If you want an extended massage, you’ll need to restart it using the user-friendly remote. This chair is worth the regular price and an especially smart purchase if you catch it on sale.

Great, other than one thing...
I accidentally broke our Brookstone massager just like this one and wanted to just replace with the same one, but Brookstone no longer makes it and since it's been around 5 years, it's out of stock everywhere. I purchased a regular Comfier massage chair last year to have a light weight one for travel, which did work out well, so finding this one from the same company made me more confident that it would be a good substitute. The most important feature to me was the air compression, as it helps my Fibro pain. I appreciate the level options for this feature -- something Brookstone's didn't have! The heat is another essential feature and it was a comfortable temperature. The optional padding over the back rollers also has the potential to come in clutch when my Fibro is bad, making me far more sensitive. The only complaint I have is the run time not having options as well. 15 min is not nearly long enough for those with chronic pain like me, but I can see it being ok for my husband or on days before work when I don't have time for a longer massage. It's not the biggest deal in the world, but showing you know your customer means knowing chronic pain sufferers will be a decent demographic of your business, which means time options should be one of the priorities. At least two: 15 and 30. Otherwise I'm happy with the purchase so far! Thank you, Comfier, I am in less pain because of your product. 🙇♂️

Adjustable for Tall people (5’9”+)
I’ve gotten a few different home neck and back massagers and this is the best one yet! It’s more adjustable and ergonomic than the cheaper ones, plus has the air pressure sides that make it feel more like the big $10k chairs. But let’s be clear, it’s not a $10k chair. It is much more economic and does a great job for 15 min relaxing cycles at home. I use it on my couch. I am 5’9” and about 170lb and it adjusted nicely to my body. I also have a long torso and long neck so the ability to adjust for this was a big win over the other cheaper ones. I think the vibration feature was a bit weird but it was easy to turn off. Very easy 2min set up and intuitive buttons/instructions to get started. Recommend, especially on flash sale if you can get it!

Not a "spa like massage experience". Not able to give a deep massage, no decent massage at all!
Not sure how or why this has so many 5 star reviews? This was so disappointing. It is not a "spa like massage experience". I am 6' tall and this did not get full coverage of some necessary areas and the ones it did where far from effective. The chair is stiff with no flex. Sitting fully back into the chair, the rollers were barely noticeable, no deep massage from anywhere on the chair. The farthest up on my back they would go was only about 2/3rd's of the way, so the entire upper back/shoulders never gets touched. On the neck, it once again does not give a deep massage. I had to push my neck back and to the sides and only by grabbing the back of the chair and pressing it into my neck would I get any kind of massage. It should not take such effort when you are supposed to be relaxing and enjoying a massage! If you are 6' or shorter then you will have to set it at it's lowest level, otherwise it is just going to go up and is touching mostly the back of your skull above your neck. The air compression is a joke and a useless feature to have to pay more for. You would be better off with a 4 node Shiatsu back massager, and yeah you may have to move it manually but that is the only way to get a good deep massage at home and you can really target problem areas. If you get one of those and a Shiatsu neck 4 node neck massager then you will be covered for much less $. Returning for refund.

Most Worth It Thing
This thing is so good. I'm 6'2 and use this on my power recliner and it feels incredible sitting upright or even better, reclined at zero gravity. My gf loves it too. The air cushions on the bottom actually do hit my sciatic nerve and it helps it a little more than I was expecting. My favorite thing about it is the neck massager like everyone says. It's really nice that you can change the direction of the neck and back massage in the middle of your session. The heat is a nice addition too. We loved it so much that my mother in law actually bought one! It's a nice piece for the home. Highly recommend!

It doesn’t massage your back, and it says “back and neck massager “
It only massages your neck and shoulders a bit, and that’s not even good enough, air puff “thing” is nonsense, no need and it doesn’t make any difference, to make matters worse, it doesn’t massage your back at all, this is a review after first try, but I might add something later, I didn’t like it, before they were selling comfier chair and not anymore, it’s similar but at the same time it’s way worse, because that was working for us, this is very poor quality, basically doesn’t do anything, you have to stay for a long time to get maybe some relief, I am so angry right now, I might return this item, it’s definitely not worth 189 dollars. For 50 bucks it’s okay. Heat doesn’t make any difference either. Vibration doesn’t matter at all. It basically sucks overall! If you’re really in need of something this is probably “best” in Amazon but it doesn’t worth it at all. Okay I tried again, it takes a lot of time to get some relief and it’s not so bad, but still the back massager doesn’t work strongly, I barely feel it. If back massager would be the same as neck massager then this would worth it, but overall it’s okay to have it, it’s just pricey for this quality.
