You can't go wrong with a plastic 3DS stylus. Sure, there's better ones out there, but this is cheap, and gets the job done.

Fits well into the "New 3DS XL" specifically. Note that it's very small for adult hands. Would recommend longer styluses for adults.

The mold they used to make the stylus wasn’t very good but it does fit in my new 3ds xl. The fit is somewhat loose but it doesn’t feel like it will fall out. Overall good if you don’t mind the quality of the stylus, but if you are looking for oem quality I’d go with a different brand

It's doesn't fit in 3Ds XL don't buy this if you have a 3Ds XL

I ordered stylus' for the 3ds xl and got some for the new 3ds xl instead. I mean they'll still work, but they're too thick to fit in the slot

Works great and fit nicely in my new 3ds xl. There was a little bit of plastic that ran down the stylus to the tip, but it comes off pretty easily with a fingernail or a knife.
