Original Vegetable Peeler Carbon Steel Blade 3-Pack Red/Green/Yellow

I have been helping my Mother peel potatoes since I was 6 years old (she was never healthy). We had the old fashioned, metal peeler, that fit in your palm, point on bottom (for spots & eyes), blade went sideways. VERY difficult to find, even at "Country Stores". Saw this 3 pack, nice color selections, made of high quality ergonomic, plastic. VERY comfortable in your hand. Blade is sharp. A BREEZE to use. Small loop off side of blade for removing spots & imperfections. Can use on fruits & vegetables too! Price is EXCELLENT for THREE peelers. I'll DEFINITELY buy them again... Don't EVER want to be without! Will definitely last, but my sister's want them as well. I don't put in dishwasher, easy to clean (quick rinse & dry the blade...doubt I'll need a 2nd set, but...can't hurt. Very well made & a breeze to use. Cut my Holiday peeling time by at least HALF. Some of you may need to "learn" how to work with this shape, but you'll be GLAD you did!

Easy to use and works excellent!!

I actually bought these by mistake. I was trying to order the name-brand peelers that every cooking YouTube channel seems to recommend and didn’t realize until later that these weren’t the famous version everyone talks about. Turns out it didn’t matter at all. This three-pack has been shockingly good. I bought them about three years ago with the expectation that I’d burn through them quickly and eventually replace them with the “better” premium version. Instead, I’m still using the first peeler from the pack and it’s somehow still sharp. And not “carefully hand washed and babied” sharp either. These things have seen legitimate abuse: * tossed in the dishwasher repeatedly * knocked around utensil drawers * used constantly during meal prep Despite all that, the blade still works extremely well. The biggest compliment I can give them is that they completely disappeared into my kitchen workflow. I stopped thinking about upgrading because they just kept working. At this point I probably have another decade worth of peelers sitting in the drawer waiting their turn. Are they luxurious? No. Are they trendy internet-famous peelers? Also no. But they’re sharp, comfortable, inexpensive, and far more durable than I expected for the price. Honestly one of the more pleasantly surprising kitchen purchases I’ve made.

I get why there are 3 in deal. They are a cheap plastic and break easy. My biggest problem is that they are the size of a child's hand and cheap plastic. I didn't realize how tiny they were. I was really drawn to them cause they are straight like the original potato peelers. and not those so called ergonomics ones that are slightly bent over that are not ergonomic. They're built straight. Unfortunately they're not metal to last and a too small for average hands.

These are ok peelers. I have another that I bought from a commercial restaurant supply that is slightly better quality but this is a deal to get 3 of them. The colors stand out in the drawer so you can find them quickly.
